How can you slow production of a game that's already finished.

We have a winner. You're so smart. Accept my apologies. Now just on one minor issue, how do you know the game and background preparation is complete? Has anyone got evidence to show it? Did KAZ actually say, 'the game is 100% and all background preparation is complete'. You're' just moaning for the sake of moaning. I know if i was PD, i'd be doing plenty more testing before going Gold again.
GT5 has gone gold and only missed the production date by 3 days.
Right now, other than Advertising and PR, PD have nothing to do in way of developing the game, it is waiting to be put on discs and shipped. Have you not been paying attention?
GT5 is no longer in development, the problem of the delay is caused by BluRay burning facilities being prebooked for other games, and with GT5 missing their time slot they have to find another.
PD releasing a demo would have NO impact on the full game.
And so I will reiterate... There is no valid reason not to help get a PSN Demo of GT5. If you don't want to play it then fine, don't download it, but that doesn't mean you have to reduce the possibility for everybody else. For example if a group of people wanted a certain track released as DLC (Lets just use Spa as an example) Then I would not really care and would not purchase it, however I would still help the group who do want it by signing a petition or something. There is no need to shoot down other peoples ideas and opportunities. All you people saying "A petition would do nothing" are idiots, if EVERYBODY on GTP signed it there would be thousands of names, and it would certainly get the attention of the Devs.

So one more person who knows everything about the production of GT5, and has clear knowledge that PD are doing nothing. How about you go rob PD's development offices, since you think nobody will be there.
As for the petition, go ahead and sign any petition you wish. In fact i've considered writing a petition so that i can become president, and in the process kill a few million Forza fanboys for fun. I can count on you for the first signature?

PD may have said the game was done, but it doesn't mean PD has finished work on GT5. And without proof you have nothing.
Well I took the quote straight from KY's mouth that they missed the production date by 3 days.
So they did do what they were required to do by the deadline, however they did not do it in time for the deadline.
Are you also aware that projects have timelines, they could have actually identified they were 3 days behind schedule well before the deadline. In fact, it would have been in PDs best interest to inform Sony of this so that a production slot could be reserved for a later date but still before Christmas.
Which is why I've made this thread.

I've taken mass offence to this last delay, and I've payed for my Signature Edition. I think it's fair for PD to give its long suffering fans a scrap of food.
Poor you taking offence. I feel sorry for you. You are aware you have the option of not buying the game to stick it to them? I dare you.
A petition would be a good idea if everyone backed it up with good reasoning, a thread full of people thinking PD owe them something is not a great place to start.
It's obvious that people who desparately want a demo won't change their minds so I won't bother trying to convince them otherwise any longer.

Whats worse about all of this, is all the people in here complaining of no demo would be the same people complaining if the demo was released. It would be too basic, or too limited, or too big, or not available for them because they didn't sign up for Playstation Plus.
A demo doesn't matter to me all that much, but on the other hand PD have already made a dozen demos for different game shows.
