Jordan will NOT recieve any review/preview copy.

Ok. I had to make a thread about this!
After all he's done. He has helped to hype this game more than anyone else and if he wants to review it, I think he deserves to make the first review! Now I know maybe he wont be first even if he gets a review copy cause their might be other sites that get's it before him. But still, if not for the glory he at least deserves to get the game for free.

Sony/PD owes him at least that.

Now, Iam not the best guy at english around here, so Iam just asking everybody to sign their names down here and then we shall count them in a few days and send it to Sony! Someone thats better then me at english might write the letter itself to Sony?

And also, please only write once, it will then be much easier to count them!

This is a great idea - I've only been a new member/lurker here for some time, but I do appreciate constant update he's putting out, especially yesterday as a rapid stream of information came in.

Did he say he wasn't getting a copy? I am very surprised. If he is cool with it, I would be willing to write a review of the game for the site as I have experience in this area. Although i'm not getting the game until it comes out obviously, so that early review isn't going to happen.

Really all Jordon has to do is get ahold of Sony's PR guy and ask for a copy.

I support you but If Jordan does the review probably won't be the first review. It's only my opinion..
 
I haven't seen anything anywhere to suggest that Jordan/ GT planet wont receive a review copy, but given the popularity of the site and the good work that's been achieved thus far through the site, I do believe he deserves it, and think it would be beneficial to the community to have an official GTPlanet review. :)
 
An e-mail by Jordan himself to SCEA PR will be a lot more useful.

If not, i don't understand why he should respect sony's desire about content shown in NEWS page :crazy:
 
Keep annoying them, eventually they'll give in and give Jordan a review copy.
As the saying goes: "If at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again."

I'll sign the petition. Be good to see an official GTPlanet review of the game. After all, other websites, magazines etc will get review copies so why not the biggest Gran Turismo online community?

Aren't review copies for journalist's to basically talk crap about the games? I mean, how many reviews mentioned the major bugs in F1 2010?

No way Codemasters would have given a review copy to anyone who was going to tell it like it is, however, since this is PD and GT5 and they shouldn't have anything to hide maybe they will give him a copy.

Maybe not. But still, the guy has even interviewed Kaz. And they still don't take this site serious enough? That's just plain wrong!
 
One of the better petition ideas i've seen this year, especially since Jordan has played by Sony's rules on many occasions.

I did a review of F1 2010 for a website, mentioned the major bugs and Codemasters PR company was cool with it. I even told them as such in a e-mail. But yeah, hardly anyone bothered to mention those bugs.

I've very surprised by this. After the years put into this community, Jordan should certainly AT LEAST receive a review copy. Hopefully you can get your hands on one somehow Jordan...there's got to be ONE copy out there for you.

I agree. Jordan does do a lot of work around the site and he tries to keep us up to date with all the GT5 news. I think he might as well get a review copy for all of his hard work. Plus it'll be good for once to see a review from a guy who has a bit of racing experience, rather than giving it to a random reviewer.

Was Jordan refused a copy because there were no review copies sent out, or was it a case of Sony being stupid?
