Ah, Code......You took my posts just like the little 12 year old you are. Basically, I DID prove you wrong (or at least KY did). Don't make me go find all of the idiotic posts you made referring to super computers and that the ps2 could never render such hi-res pics. As far as the human element goes, all I am saying is that PD is in fact working on creating a complex human engine to add life to GT. Not that there will be actual human AI like HAL. Don't be a dolt! Oh, and the Nurb. I remember some idiot (ahem, Code) going on and on about how great his XBOX is because he can play PGR2 and drive on the Nurb, something the poor, crappy ps2 couldn't manage. Yet another example of Code's bias and ignorance. Maybe, instead of calling people stupid and acting glib all the time, you should try actually looking up the facts before making idiotic statements. But then, how much maturity can you expect from someone who has "cobragt owned" in his signature.

Majin, the makers of GT4 said they couldn't do the nurb, and I am thrilled that they have. And those hi res shots are NOT in game, they are part of the photo mode, which NOTE, looks ALOT better then actual in game play footage as it's rendering ALOT less, so looks like your the idiot :P.Ever see a game on the PS1 that looked as good as those early tech demos? no. Now if those shots were in game, and the whole game looked like that, then i'd be proven wrong.

Ehm...don't want to spoil your little tea party guys but isn't the photomode INgame?? Since it's in the game GT4, could just be me...of course it isn't possible to race at those resolutions on a PS2, but I don't think any one ever believed that Code_Kev....

In game for me means I have full control over the car in a proper game play section, compare the photo bits to ACTUAL game play bits, and you see my point. The photo bits are very pretty though, and I'm gonna end up wasting hours playing with it :)

Please people, realise I do not actually use words like "owned" unless I am taking the piss, as you have c4k3 with your name. Me and majin are forum buddies :)
 
I just hope they spend aslong on the opponent AI as they have on the new animations for drivers/new spectators/photo mode.

Even with this new eye candy, if the AI is still moronic it will be shame :(

As I recall, I never even mentioned your name in my first posts. All I said was that the screen shots everybody said were renders done on a computer were actually done in-game. In-game, my dear code, means quite literally "IN THE GAME". Last I checked, photo mode is indeed in-game. I also stated that certain "people" said that the nurb could never be done in its entirety on the ps2. KY just said the track wasn't in (probably to heighten the surprise at E3). He said nothing of limited ps2 ability to render the track, that was the people here assuming it could not be done (which is obviously false). Again, I didn't mention any names. I also brought up human element because, if you watched the E3 demonstration, it was a big part of KY's presentation. Even Live admitted that he had been partially wrong but that is leaps and bounds beyond your maturity level, I guess. You would rather just call me stupid and ignore my points of argument. Whatever though dude. If it makes you feel like a big man to say you owned me, then more power to ya! ;)

I've never said that I respect cobra for his insults. He acts just as childish as code. I was merely pointing out that he has been partially correct all along about certain aspects of GT4, something no one else here (except Live) has been willing to admit.
 
Majin, theres a difference between handling great graphics at 60 fps, with 6 cars, detailed tracks, sound effects, AI, physics, music etc etd, then handling it with a sound track, one car, and a short section of track. Get my point now?

And don't get all hoyty-toyty with me, trying to sound smart because you can string together more then 3 words, yes I said the nurb couldn't be done, but I am infact HAPPY that it is, I'm glad that I was proved wrong.

Now I don't see you sticking the knife in when Cobra makes a mistake do I...:rolleyes:, tis only because he says what you want to hear.

I can look this up in my spare time, but KY said that the PS2 couldn't render a track like LeMans and that the Nurb wasn't going to make it in either. At the E3 he obviousely had found a way to include the Nurb and LeMans might turn up yet (if it does who's betting on PD showing it off when the LeMans 24hr is on). Majin is quite right when he says the photo mode is ingame regardless of what context the phrase "in game" was used in the original argument. What needs to happen here is for everyone to relax and forget about the stupid graphics argument in the first place. I don't like having to admit that I was wrong on some points any more than any person but I don't see the point in calling black white.
