i have seen alot of pictures with people taking photo's mid drift, there a way to do this during a race/drift sector or do i have to do it another way

Yes...and...no.

If you go out to the track, and simply drive around. There's no way you can take photos unless you are using some sort of video capture software.

However, if you go out to the track, do your business, save the replay, you can take as many photos as you want while watching the replay. Simply press SELECT at any given time. 👍

You have to pause the replay and the option for photo mode shows up.

Pressing select only changes the view in replay.

You are absolutely right!! For a moment there I was thinking about GT4 replay controls! Silly me.
