Need to talk to you soon. This is getting too good, to not being able to do al this! :D

I think I'll get more help here than in the actual competition forum. Here is my basic idea i don't know how to make it look clean, its nowhere near done. How can I make this look real , right now its just to show the idea.

Um ok.

Firstly, not aimed at you, but i really dislike this trend towards converting 4x4's to monster trucks. Looked good the first time, getting a bit boring now.

Anyway, ways to improve yours.

You need to get more contrast (dark to light difference) on the whole of the chassis/wheel section, it looks too flat.

Some how you're going to need to either raise the body higher or create some humungous wheel arches as those wheels are half in the rover at the mo.

Good attempt, needs work.

Thanks alot, youre trying to help at least, yea the 4 x 4 conversion wasnt what i was originally going for, i wanted hydraulics (probabaly not your style either but it'd be different than other chops, i even had the background plan and everything just not the resources), Thats true what you said , but, I think this is way out of my league for now and i should keep on doing my normal chops until i feel the time is right to try something like this.

Glacius, the strut to the wing looks very low quality compared to the rest of the job. Blurred, thin and bendy.

Sort of stole this idea from Chaser Fan.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, what i am trying to do is.
i was bored in class one day so i drew this car on paper, its kinda my own idea, has modern touches and some old class, with some of my own style, like the "fangs".
then i got bored in my room one day so i decided to scan it up, and "vector" it, i guess is what its called,
now i am bored and i want to try and do a real looking car, and i was planning peices from all other types of cars, liek caddilac for the modern headlights, volkswagon or porsche for the round headlights, but i cant find any good pictures. can you guys post some of those, and any others you think would help me out here. thanks!

Here you go:

Color Change
Rims Change
Lowered
Shortened - like a Mini needs to be any smaller
shaved stuff - like that weird line on the fender

This wasn't one of my hardest ones, just something I thought was funny. I think this is a very smooth job tho, better than some of mine, which LOOK Photoshopped, I dont know how small this car actually is now, but I'm sure it is probaby a little small for functional human use. :sly:
C&C Please

Nissan_Racer: Welcome to the world of chopping! I would suggest that maybe you could desaturate the colour a little bit to make it look more natural. Don't forget that attention to detail is one of the keys to a convincing chop. Those rubber seals round the windows should stay black and those intercooler hoses also seem to have been given the red treatment too.

A good start nonetheless and the more you practice the better you'll get. How about joining in the Weekly PS Comp.? If you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism, it's a good place to improve your skills. Hope this helps. Welcome to GTP by the way.

EDIT: The S14 in the original picture is one of the rawest and most beautiful cars I've seen, in a function over form kind of a way.

Bluebanana: That mini Mini is funny! I like it a lot. Have you ever seen Cano's CARicatures? They're awesome too.

TVRking: Haha! No, you didn't steal the idea from me. I think most people have had that idea somewhere down the line, they just don't have the patience to do it.

Latest Work, Just a simple racer Z Car.

Enlarged Front intake, Larger Door Vent, lengthened wheel base, lowered, chopped backend, color change, background change, darkened, blurred, smoked.

First chop, I like from you. Keep it up and try not to blur the car so much the next time. 👍

@ TVRKing: Nice, but maybe less opacity and smaller pattern 👍

@ Suzq044: How in the world have you made that Viper and 300C!?!? They look awesome!

@ bluebanana: That Mini is one cool ride there, man!

Ok, I was bored, so I did little something with this 406 Coupe.
Eyelids, lowered, new rims, brushed sideskirt, wider wheel arches, the vent on the side, and the black stripe on the side now red.

Okay all comments and criticism are welcome!!!!

Still work in progress, but I can´t think anything more, so give me some ideas!

The original can be found in the weekly Photoshop comp. thread. Sorry, the quality is bad, but it needs to be under 100kb so..
