this is my latest WIP, i cant seem to finish my projects, i always end up starting new ones, o well, i painted it, brushed the smoke, new rims and blur (a bit), btw its supposed to be drifting. c&c is appreciated. any suggestions on other things to do?

and chopped

The car is done nicely as well as the rims but the "fake" smoke kinda lowers it a bit. I'd prefer if you hadn't added that.

Suzq your avatar's looking a lot better now! 👍

widebody civic si
Before:

After:

- smoked headlights
- carbon fiber lip and hood
- widebody kit
- added headlight/foglight glow

it would look better w.out the lights 'on' .. cause it just looks like a 35pt brush stabbed in there.. no offense.. otherwise nicely done :D

Anything counts ;)

I like the Civic Si; did you make that FallenAngel? (duh, of course....)

@suzq044  yeah now that u mention it the headlights look kinda tacky. it was acctually done with lens flare, hue/saturation, level, brightness/contrast (go figure  )

@GT4_Rule thanks man, yeah i made it, ill post some more later on

noo! not the lense flare! [ultra noob-move imo] lol... no offense, i just hate the thing, no use for it.

 whats wrong with lens flare? used correctly it can be pretty nice. here are some examples of what ive done with it.

ehh; i'd rather airbrush a beam, rather than see to bright lookin thingys.. [airbrush like so:

i completely agree. I started out using lens flare but then found out by some more experienced choppers that it is just a lazy way to get something that doesnt even look as good as brushing. Now im no expert or anything but i think any experienced chop artist will agree in saying that lens flare is no good. Mind you the result that u get using lens flare is good i think it would be better off if it was brushed, makes it look more custom made. imo.

heres a fun chop i did on a rolls. It started out as a kind of fool around chop but i think it turned out pretty good actually. Front rim is a bit off but who cares!
original:

and chopped:

yea i feel the same, im gonna change those rims, they were jus temporary because i didnt feel like dickin around with it any more. Wut color combo do u think would look good? i wanna keep it 2-tone.

The ultimate-ugly Rolls! jk jk

It doesn't matter whether if it is lens flare or airbrush, both have its own pros and cons.

Edit: It's not that I don't like the picture, it's that I don't like Phantom in general.

Maroon and Black, or Black and silver, or Gold and Silver, White and Gold, Black and gold.
Thats all...
2tone is gangsta

and another smart.. cleaned 'er up a bit:

edit- it occurs to me, y'all might want the original.. lol

lol, Yeah I see you raised the car a bit. I want the original, no offense :scared:

Fool, the original is the bottom one! :dunce:
Dont you know what a SmartRoadster looks like?!

lol; responses to the chop now plz? :dunce:

Oh yeah.

The thing is neat; I like the side exhausts as well as the vents on the front wheelwell. But it must be road illegal, it doesn't have headlights :D

sure thing, the chop looks very clean except for some minor flaws. the carbon fiber looks great but the pattern u used isnt the best. theres a different CF pattern. i can show u how to create the pattern i used on the civic i did, i believe that looks a bit more realistic. the front fender looks great, but its a bit too blurry, u might've blurred it a little bit too much. use the lasso tool before blurring to get a cleaner blur. the door handle remover, in my opinion, wouldve looked better if u removed the entire handle rather than just leaving the bar there. also, i noticed u added a side vent exhaust, maybe its just me but the exhaust and the hole cut from the fiberglass looks lopsided. the rear wheel looks good (u did make it bigger correct?) IMO it would look alot better if u stretched the rear fender alittle, make it look like the wheel is wider too. other than those minor flaws, very clean job man 👍

i just used one [cf pattern] from a real car then changed the direction for each piece.. kind of a quick chop.. as far as the blurring, i was having trouble with the fender specifically.. lol, dunno why; the rest turned out fine.. thx for the response :D

as far as it not having headlights.. see where the fogs are; they've been retrofitted to being headlights ;) [or if u like, there's better headlights under the CF covers up top].. whichever ur imagination likes best :D

probably; i tooned one a while back, but its in the graphics section under vectored cars.
