heres my contest chop of the new jeep compass, i like the way it turned out, imo this would have to be one of the better chops i have done. Some of its c/p (but i used all jeep parts 👍 ) and some by hand (this was my first attempt at brushing a kit, i did side only)

thanx TVR, im hopin that i have a change with this one for this weeks competition, cause right now for the 132 week comp of the '07 merc CL we're gettin our asses handed to us by Maccie with his crazy sporty lookin design, i think it looks like an ant lol

Huh? That's a Jeep Compass.

Are you sleep-deprived?

Cant you see its grillz?

They look the same to me....lol. But I do admit that I was sleep deprived.

lol, that can serve as an excuse to pretty much everything, i've lost track of how many times i've used it lol.

well theres tutorials all over the internet, not just how to chop in general but specifics like lowering, color change, rims change, etc. Jus google for photoshop tutorials. Goggle is your friend lol.
well i had some time and wasnt in the mood for a serious chop so i made the ultimate bond car!.

there arent any on this site, but u can look at places like .. photoshopedup.com, photoshopchop.com, ps-garage.com for tutorials :)

there ok but theres a coule things: Your selections are pretty rough, means that when u use the polygonal lasoo tool or pen tool or whatever u use to outline things the lines are jagged and rough, also u should use a different carbon fibre pattern, the one u use doesnt look all that real. http://www.photoshopjunkie.com/tutorials/cf/index.htm - here is a good carbon fibre tutorial 👍
last thing is that when u lower a car u leave area behind the lowered body the same, sometimes the body of the normal height layer shows or other times u can see road when it really should be very dark if not black.
this is what i mean, ill show u on ur ac. theres some airbrushed graphics for ya lmao.

Some lines are rough and jagged, and the carbon fiber pattern in the Acura isn't exactly convincing. But it's a great chop, especially if you're new to this.

A nice Bond car you made, Speedy_E! But I didn't know there was a new search engine called Goggle ;)

lol yea u should try it out sometime, great results with goggle! lol

goggle? .. the only thing i search for with that is seashells when i'm snorkeling  [i think u meant google]

Goggle?

Suzq, Ive been meaning to ask you for some time, can you do a 'chop of a Hyundai Azera? Not a big one, just remove the bar between the taillights, but on tailpipes on both sides, (one on each side), a mesh grille, and some of the newer BMW rims (any are fine, as long as they are from this year).

I would prefer if you did front AND back 3/4 views.

Thanks:)

no jus so u all kno i was kidding with the "goggle" thing, im not that dumb lol

Don't worry, we all know that - it was a friendly joke :sly:

A Hyundai Azera chop would be nice, but I like that bar between the taillights!

Ive got mixed feelings about that car... er, bar... I kinda like it, but it reminds me of some retarded-ass oldsmobile or Mercury...

But the sad thing is, the more I see that car, the more sexy I think it looks.

Lloyd Banks
If you seen her from the back
You'd understand why dis feel like that

..okay, I thought the line was a little different from that...

And yes, it freaks me out too. Id take an Azera over any other sub-50K sedan any day.:scared:

thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!

Its been like 6 months since I asked the first person, I ask here and I get it in less than a day, once again thank you!

i just realized this with the banner at the top of the page with gtplanet.net on it and there is a car beside it, switches everytime and when its the ford gt the front wheel is spinning and the rear wheel isnt. Anybody else notice that? :boggled:

yea i just noticed that in my unending boardom, make it a random fact of the day.👍

I'm pretty sure that wasn't a screwup. The front of the car is speeding into the rest of the banner, but the back is still standing on the track in the backround. Sort of like a transition.

well i guess that could be the case, other than that all in can think of is the drivers has got his e-brake engaged?
