You dropped it, but you forgot to get the entire backsground to drop with the car height. You can see it on the sides of the pitcure, as well as, underneath the car.

Ok, I know I'm missing something here about the lasso. Is there a way to change it from magnetic to a straight line in the middle of a cut? That would help to go around the edges of the picture before I drop the car. Also, is there a way to lasso multiple items at once? Like a window, plus a wheel or something like that?

Don't use the magnetic lasso. Use the Polygonal lasso Tool instead. I never, ever use the magnetic one. It is useless IMHO. With the Polygonal, you get better control, like tracing around your edges and it is all straight lines. Make sure you select real short lines around a tire or wheel or anything circular to make it look more round.

Also set your (don't know the actual technical term for this) but the selection grouping to the one shown with the red arrow in the attached. It lets you select more than one area, or you can leave it where you have it and press shift to add additional selections. Hope this helps.

yes its a car, been workin on it on and of for almost 2 years , its my biggest project yet and its all 100% brushed 0)

i cant say much just have to wait and see , but its like none other car you have seen its unqie 0)

Well, if you hold the left mouse button down on the "Lasso" tool, you'll get three options to choose from. I prefer the circular lasso (do not recall it's name), because you can get more precise selections and not have the blocky selections like polygon selection gives you.

Now, as for the adding/subtracting from a selection, use the Shift and Alt keys while selecting. You'll see a plus and a minus sign, respectively, on the Lasso selection icon.

I didn't create the Smart Big Wheel. I used reversd engineering on that one.

The actual photo is real (except for the chrome wheels). I wanted to show what it actually looked like as a normal car.

The front end seem really low.

Other than that, I like the wheels.

yep I lowerd the front more then the rear because it looked weird with rear touching the rim and the frond end barely touching the tyre.
I'm thinking of lowering the rear bumper a little
and then I must lower the rear end of the side-skirt a little more to make it look right I gues
but I probely will start another car for the next competition and perfect it when I have time

Here's my latest photoshop edit. Another Punto (), but this time its been given the chop! It also recieves a nice little underbody diffusor kit, race-style bodykit and a redesigned rear end. Enjoy.
