Could this be a glitch in gt4?

It's not the capture card. It's what ign did to the pic, see you dont blow a 320x240 image up to a 640x480 image, that's why you see all those jaggies and I know gt4p doesn't have that many jaggies. There are some, but lesser than gt3.

nah, that isnt a resize.. its some kind of crap deinterlacing..

anyway, they still cant do good screengrabs, 3years after their
first crap one :)

about the glitch.. hm.. im not sure what is happening on the picture.

1 car driving the wrong direction, and hitting one of the cars?

Could be glitch and possibley no doubt about it, but GT4 isnt out yet so any screens released shouldnt have glitches in them for the sake that PD doesnt want to make the game look crappy so i dont know where the got this pic but its pretty messed up.

no captions on the pics so no clues there.... its surrounded by (still crappy looking) pics with no glitches... do you think they noticed it? do you think they even know what game it is? are they retarded?

It's not a glitch. IGN was screwing around and running the car backwords so they could ram into other cars...

well, im sure it's from gt4p, its the one thing im 100% sure about that pic..look at the gauges, and PD wouldn't release a pic like that..

It is from GT4:P. You raced against the Penezoils Skyline JGTC in GT4:P the car IGN was using in the Takata NSX JGTC.

I don't see anything glitchy about it, one car's going against traffic, two are colliding so one's being launched into the air, I see no obvious clipping glitches, the angle can be misleading, but beyond that, just looks terrible, which we can blame IGN for.

There is no glitch, it is just really bad deinterlacing by whatever capture card IGN is using. The capture card is trying to make one frame out of two half-frames, but since a lot of action happened between the two half-frames the final result is a horrible mess. Notice that stuff that doesn't move such as the lap counter looks fine, but stuff that was moving such as the crashing cars and buildings in the background (because of the moving camera) have stripes.

Also this is a screenshot from Prologue, not the full version of GT4.
