David which Pedals are you using?

I was always under the impression that either high end brake pedals or add-on replacement/upgradeable pedals were the only ones that use a Potentiometer. These pedals use the potentiometer because, they are replicating a race car's brake pedals without ABS. This type of brake mechanisim tries to immitate a pressure motion (like in real life) rather then the lever motion that my G-27 uses which is not realistic as we don't use a lever motion for our brakes in real life, as it's a pedal that is used via pressure.

This is why I'm confused, as I thought these pressure sensing brakes are able to give us the sense of using a real pressure based pedal by way of these potentiometers.

A simple way to think about it is potentiometers use range of motion to replicate braking,load cells actually use force applied to the pedals,and there are actually high end brake pedals that use a master cylinder just like a real car.

You sure this is the correct name for this car @Alex ONeill ? Not seeing no cars by that name.
In "Chevrolet" the two open wheel cars I'm seeing is:
1. Dallara IR-12 Chevrolet (Speedway), and
2. Dallara IR-12 Chevrolet (Road Course)

I'm assuming it's #2 (Dallara IR-12 Chevrolet (Road Course)) but just want to make sure.
Don't want to end up choosing and practising with the wrong car and next thing you know come race time was not what I thought.

Well, Drive Hub has nothing to do with the audio bro.. Unless, you are referring to having to have to keep a DS4 shut off and you were using that DS4 for audio?

If so, there's two ways around that. Either you get another DS4 💡 or, you use your mic on the sep USB connection and that's if your mic is capable of that. Just recently, my mic's USB connection croaked out on me in the middle of a race and had to quckly use the reg audio jack into the DS4 :lol:. Those multiple connected mics definitely help with Drive Hub.. That's if they work properly that is :lol:.

Oh I see I what I did here.. I am mixing up the definition of the Potentiometer with the Load Cell :lol:.

I decided to try to use my old TB headphones, but the system is like not recognizing them as a lm input.

I can hear game audio finr regardless of what headphones I use

*edit* I think I got it working now. 2nd controller as stated above.

Your old TB Headphones are equipped with a mic on them right? So then, you're system is not recognizing a mic but audio is okay?
 
I’m probably just not going to be in chat. It’s not worth the hassle. The system recognizes my headphones when plugged into the other controller, but my headphones need to be powered on for the mic to transmit, but for some reason the game audio goes low and the game sound quality goes crappy. Sound quality is good when the power is off, but I can’t transmit. This is all with my G933. Those TB headphones suck.

Oh wow you have the G-933 which uses Multi Connections. I know this because I have the G-633 and I believe the only difference between your headset and mine is that yours is wireless.

Okay so here's a stupid question. Did you try connecting your G-933 by way of USB conection? If so, your PS4 should detect it as 'Logitech USB Connection' under Settings > Audio > Microphone. In fact, with your headset you can also plug the 3.5mm jack to the DS4 that's off, all at the same time while also having the USB connection.

Okay two very important things in case this is your issue.

**Make sure to go into the PS4 UI to command the DS4 to shut off. The one that's connected to the Drive Hub. Even if it looks off, make sure to go into the UI and command it to shut off.

**The other thing is, if you are using the 2nd DS4 for audio and you have the 3.5mm jack connected to it, is to make sure it's not plugged into the system via USB charging as well at the same time. If that controller is being used for audio you will have issues. Make sure it's charged first.

I know it may be a little frustrating at first but once you get the hang of it it's a breeze.

I do not know how to make sure the Drivehub gamepad is turning off. It is however set to communicate via USB rather than Bluetooth.

Does indeed recognize the headphones wirelessly. But damnit the game sound is sooo crappy. I don’t get it.

*edit* Nevermind. I GOT IT! One of the hot keys on my headphones must default to a sound parameter swap. Sounds nice and full now. Thank goodness.

How do so many people have mic issues?! Even people are telling me my mic isnt loud enough sometimes... and thats me.
 
@coltsjugg Im using a different combination of hardware I’ve never used together before. So,
That was my issue. I got it sorted though I think.

I’m practicing the combos but any tuning if any will be done last minute.
 
Can you plug your mic into your ps4 controller? If yes THEN DO IT. If not... Does it plug with a USB? If so... talk to Bear.

This can cause havoc because many people use that controlller for audio.

Plus, I wouldn't really call it having issues because, he's setting it all up with proper audio and Drive Hub for the first time. :)

It's amazing how like 6 posts were made at the same time and, being that you guys always double post nor, EVER make an effort to just look up or back a few posts instead of asking redundant questions to answers that have already been answered... I'm going to tell you guys to please scroll up a few posts and read post #2688 for my answer to your question :lol:.

And no Colts, you're mic connection is by far the worst... At least we CAN HEAR Bears's grunting.. With you, I feel like I'm about to get a ear hematoma from straining so hard to try hear you speak. :lol:

Sorry I missed last night, my grandson stayed with us for a little while over the holidays, he's kinda taken over the PS lol,and I had practiced too,well maybe next week.
 
I would gladly trade my 40 points a night for the racing I enjoyed last night. Every race I had a battle with someone. Most of the time clean, and some of the times not, @Alex ONeill kept knocking me off the track. :lol::lol: but in truth, I hit his azz more than once. The lotus was my favorite ride of the night. @ONESPACE and I had a battle from the green flag to checkered. Yes, I jumped the the start and had to serve a drive thru. the racing was so close and fun I refused the DT , and got DQ. Worth it, would get DQ any time for racing like that. @Xradkins at Rapuna was something i do again all night long.

The night was fun, did you hear me FUN!!! :bowdown::cheers:

Did I get destroyed at Long beach, sure did, but guess what ? I still had fun.
 
That was great racing last night guys, I had a great time battling with all of you. It was good to have a bunch of the usual suspects as well as some old faces and some new ones!!
