I have heard people saying things about leaving the game on B-spec for a couple of hours on it's own. How is this possible, don't you have to press ok at the pitting menu, other wise the car just stops in the pits and does nothing?

you just have to wait some extra time to start the pit works, and it will always auto refill the gas to full.

Won't it lose you loads of time?

It takes about 5-7 seconds extra before the pit work starts automatically. Then any extra time to fill up, but I usually fill up every time anyway, so that is a wash for me.

Every time I do B-spec mode its just fine whenever I pit. Although i havn't watched a b-spec pit I never have any problem. Just let bob do his thing. However, sometimes when i am controlling b-spec mode I will press the pit button too late and my car will hit the retaining wall seperating the pit from the track. Sometimes it will keep hitting it and never go in the pit. Other than that I dont think you have to worry about anything

of course you lose times, but everytime if I am b-spec ing an endurance race, i always put Bob in an overpowered car. that way even he wastes time during each pit stops, he can still win the race easily.

i am sorry 4 bringing up an old topic but in b-spec mode when you are doin an endurance race do you just have to hit 'circle' on your controller at the start of a race and your b-spec driver will decide when you need to pit in? i am only asking this as i have never used B-spec mode before, i have always used a-spec mode.

You can pretty much ignore the pit button, the B-driver will turn on the P icon when he thinks the car needs new tires or more fuel. Sometimes he waits too long, or hasn't done the math for a good pit strategy, so it helps to turn it on or off manually in a close race.

The most important button to push is the Triangle so he has permission to pass the other cars. Also, set a safe pace from 1-4 (higher B-spec skill can manage faster paces safely) and adjust it if needed for tricky turns.

jus put him in a car that is better than everything and theres no worries to how much time he wastes at the pit. if only it would remain on 3x after he pits.

ye. i put my b-spec bob in my mercadees SL 600 AMG. 999bhp. V12. not my car with the most bhp but definitly 1 of my best cars.

oh make sure ur car is really overpowered cuz last nite wen i did the 24 hour race Bob missed the pits and ran out of gas he ended up driving nurburg at 50 mp/h. :yuck:

My cure for that was softer tyres on the front. then he understeers into the pits instead of pirouetting past it. :dopey:

Noooo way, softer tires finish much faster than hard ones.

Exactly! The softer front tyres wear out first so he understeers. He only has a problem missing the pit entrance at Nurb when his back tyres wear out first. At least mine does...

well i switch every now and again so.......its all rite he only missed twice and we were 12 laps ahead.
