Does anyone know where these PS4's are being manufactured? There are different bits of information floating around that the first batch might all or some be Made In Japan. With the PS3 there was a very small number which were Japanese made.
 
Foxconn in Chaina are producing them as they usually do. Here is an article claiming that students from a local university are allegedly being forced to manufacture them as part of their engineering degree. Nothing has been proven as far as I am aware.
 
I just got some insider information this afternoon that I must share. People who own the same content on one account on two different PS3s may shy away.

I was fixing my cousin's PS3 this afternoon and was forced to call tech support. While I had them on the phone, I made mention that I was interested in buying a PS4, and was wondering, since I only owned content on one PS3, that I could download content that I bought on PS3 on to the PS4(since 95% of my purchases were digital).

Their answer? As long as I didn't have the same content on the same account on another PS3 (or 4), then I am good to go on downloading it again for the PS4.
 
I don't know what you are really trying to say but here's how it is with PS4:

You can have content on 2 PS4's. Your primary PS4 that your account is tied to and then a second PS4 with your account as a sub-account. Games purchased by your account can be play on any profile on the main PS4 and also on the second PS4 only if logged into that account.

This is changed from PS3 where anything downloaded on one of two PS3's can be played on any account on those PS3's.

What type of content would that be? Definitely not PS3 games...

He's playing a character. Watch some of his other videos and you'll see that he doesn't actually behave like that. I'm not going to dispute the fat part, but there's no need to call someone names.

Agree! Boogie is cool guy. He only created Francis to make raging videos complaining in sarcastic ways on a real problems.

It's also has specific kind of humor.

I think you mean your psn account at the first place. Once you have your psn account on your 1. ps3, then you want to create your account on your 2. friend PS3. Isn't in the first place you have do deactivate it on your 1. PS3, then activate it on your 2. friend? Or do i just mixed something up.

So if i had PS3 and my account it is still possible to create this account on PS4, all the trophies from PS3 will be visible on PS4 and other way around. It has to be possible !

Oh ok, thanks for the edit, then. I honestly had no idea and just thought he was really such a horrible person. That says a lot either about his acting talent or the general state of the world... :P

There was another offer for those who preordered a PS4 game, you get a code in your email to Buy one get one, and if you preordered 2 you get one free, so it's the same offer but you could order the free game right away. I think on Tuesday the games are going to vanish quickly :lol:

Those are just insane! What gaming would be look like in one year from now i just can't imagine.

For sure there will be games like Resident Evil 8 and Tomb Raider 20, i don't mid. If they would look insane.

So, for everyone worried about the other console spying on you, looks Like the PS4 will be doing it too 👎

Personally, I could care less, because nothing I say or do on my game console is anything that I'd care if anyone else knew, but that's hardly a good excuse to invade my privacy. I won't let this stop me from buying next gen consoles, but I am worried about how much invasion of provacy people seem willing to put up with these days.

Maybe it's like Eric Schmidt said after all:

Isn't that what you just did? Nothing is really changed from PS3 games. It's still a license to use the software and you can still sell it to a game shop.
