Glad to see that the PS4 supports AMD's True Audio technology. I've been scanning every bit of the news from the developer summit. Nothing pertaining to the PS4's pocessor has been disclosed. Today they only disclosed info on mantle and revealed their mullins and beema SOCs.

I'll be waiting in line for either this or a Xbox One. Depends on the # of units in stock at launch.

Another Broken PS4 (Livestream link) Not broken anymore

Those broken PS4's are from the Taco Bell. I do hope the PS4 has a low failure rate but be warned if you have a PS4 pre-ordered.

Anyone else think PS4 needs more than 500 gigs?
I went to gamestop last night and saw that Killzone Shadow Fall requires a 45 gig install to the hard drive and same with CoD Ghost.
that's 20% of the hard drive right there on TWO games!!! lets not forget the software size on the HDD and patches and DLC's and the video recording and etc.

Yep, it definitely needs a bigger HDD than what it comes with. I have a 1TB Western Digital HDD I'll be putting in mine before I even boot it up so I don't have to do it later.

Not every game is going to fill a Blu Ray disc and need you to install dozens of GB of data, just like it didn't for the PS3. Sony will also most definitely increase the HDD size in the console within the year; as they did with the PS3 as well.

The PS4 does not "install" games" per say.. it catches them , so there is no instal screen it downloads of teh disk as you play.. , it be great if sony release an option that let us delete the catch automatically and set catch parameters..

What is the appeal for the PS4? I mean, there were major advancements from PSOne to PS2, and from PS2 to PS3. The PS4 feels more like PS3 v2.0 to me. Most games still aren't even optimized for the PS3. Will new hardware some how make development easier so publishers will push out more polished ports of our favorite games?

More curious than anything.... I guess the hype isn't there for me this time around. Lack of marketing or lack of luster?

PS3 is an abomination compared to PS4. PS4 is all of PS3's strengths but none of the weaknesses. And then some.

The two next gen consoles are more similar to eachother and to PC then ever before. Thats going to speed up development time and ports.

Apparently people are already streaming high quality gameplay over twitch and ustream. Its going to be awesome just sitting back and watching someone else race or play the latest action game when you take a break from your own gaming. You can even comment while they play and see their reactions if they have a PS Camera.

I tried to fumble around with FRAPS on the PC for years, but it always hurt the FPS performance too much. PS4 has a built in chip that records gameplay, so now I can record and relive all those awesome moments with very little hassle.

Theres more, but for someone like me who hasnt had a gaming PC in years its going to be awesome to play a Battlefield game with 64 players at 60fps.

PS3 2.0? Doesnt look like it here

Still waiting for mine to ship. I've been checking on NeoGaf and it seems that Amazon hasn't shipped many in the Midwest yet as a lot of people are in the same situation. It should still come by Friday but I'm anxious and am checking every 30 minutes for some sort of movement.

And my B2G1 hasn't shipped completely yet. The order was placed 14 seconds into the sale according to their invoice but Killzone hasn't shipped yet??? I don't understand that one.

Played some demos today, in my local game shop. Have to say, I love the controller, fits so well in the hands.

The games are alright, really want to try driveclub.

@iMikeTheKing
Man, just earlier today I was thinking about Next-gen consoles and saying 'gosh darnit, I really hope none of them have a slight wobble when I decide to apply some pressure with my fingers!'

Thanks internet!
Just bad when the internet is lying (or shall I say Mike?).

The PS4 doesn't really have a wobbling issue, it's simply how they're designed.

EDIT: Sure, now you could say it's a design flaw...

500 gigabybyte Hard Drive in PS4 is like having 80 gigabyte hard drive in PS3. I wonder when customers finally start realize that.

If for example you and your buddies (share same accounts) purchase games from PSN like i do sometimes we all can download game on HDD. But in PS3 case this in most cases took like 10 gigabytes. Sometimes 15, and in most hard core cases like Beyong Two Souls, Last of US, GTA5 it took 25.

Full list of current games

But PS4 games take much more space on HDD 40gb at least. And in the future even more. First true next Gen game i think like WatchDogs, MGS5, Order 1886 might even take 100 GB, How small 500 gigabyte hard drive would prove to really be?

Don't care about wobble, ill already order vertical stand, there is space next to mine PS2 and PS3, it will look amazing next to those two sony consoles. !

Why are people on the internet complaining about the 'wobble'? I mean, who plays a gaming console while simultaneously pressing one corner of their system down? Some people will just find any minuscule problem (if you could call it that) and dramatize it.

Not really a big deal besides possibly some scratched discs, but still the paper with the word fixed make it quite funny..

Its a launch console, its going to have problems. Same with any launch console. So good luck those of you that are getting this day 1. Truly hope it goes well for you. Just make sure you get a warranty. :)

It has nothing to do with warranty.

You'd have to wait for a new model, a PS4 slim or similar.

Warranty will cover the other inevitable problems that come with getting a launch console. ;)
Plus might want to get warranty for the PS4 games since a tilting / rocking PS4 will for sure scratch games.

Possibly. I have a buddy who moves his PS3 while a game is being played quite often and his discs look good as new. Blu-Ray discs are much more durable than the DVDs that the 360 uses.

I totally agree with you, the PS4 is not a big leap and the clue is in the price.

The jump from PS2 to PS3 was huge, the PS4 is equivalent to a mid range gaming pc and its a result of a post recession world and an industry that's in decline. Sony didn't spend $840 per console this time!

I wish it was a $600 retail console, because then you know it would be amazing.

WOW PS4 kicks XBOXONE's ass, I bet if you press the xbone down it doesnt do a magic trick!

Well i wouldnt make a big deal of it online but if i'm forking out £350 on something it better not have a wobble thats for sure even if i press it down
