Notice how Mark says FPS are important to us?

I hope the next gen doesn't have an over saturation of generic FPS games.

But Call of Duty Dog is ready for deployment on the next gen already.:indiff:

Yeah, I don't see that trend stopping anytime soon so anyone can just give up hope on that.

Just for the record, I've got nothing against shooters. Just not into them.

At least I have Naughty Dog, Kojima Pro, Rockstar, and PD for the next gen.

EA is still too shady for me to do business with, and Activision is a persona non grata in my home.

yup, and it looks like Ubisoft is seriously stepping up their games with The Division and The Crew

Has anyone been able to find a complete list of PS4 launch titles? I've searched around and all I can find is games announced for them but they don't detail whether or not they're launch titles.

PS+ required for online isn't a big deal at all, those who find it a big deal need to look at some facts. Yes we have to pay for online now but it is through PS+, a service which gives 1-3 FREE games per month on multiple systems not to mention discounts and other goodies. We are not simply paying to play online like Xbox Live, we are paying to play online and get all the perks PS+ offers. Secondly, it really isn't expensive at all when you look at what you are getting and any gamer shouldn't have an issue paying $60 US for a whole year, the price of 1 game. Finally, Sony will now have the funds to actually improve PSN so the gap between the quality of PSN and Live isn't so large. With time I think PSN will make definite inroads on Xbox Live , particularly in terms of value.

I personally don't think we as consumers have enough information to figure out which companies are good and which companies are evil I think we should just stick to buying the games regardless of who the evil corporation is we don't have the facts we don't have all the information if you want a game or like a game buy it if you don't find another game. All the speculation is based on very little fact.

It still sucks that we have to pay for something we didn't before I understand PS Plus its a good service I had a couple times and enjoyed it however this economy sucks 60 bucks a year that's a whole game it's getting more expensive to play these games as a hobby and as somebody who's been laid off several times and has to have a mortgage and has bills just want to pass time to play around with this friends yeah 60 bucks means a lot

I do understand at the money is going to be used to maintain the servers for online but most of us made a choice that we wanted to play online when we got service from our internet providers that we pay for every month it's a tricky situation I think they should have had two tiers. 1 being the free service and a higher one being excellent online service that you have to pay for just my 2 cents

I know, always dreamt of driving across USA.
Dunno if this has been mentioned, but apparently it takes 90 mins to drive from coast to coast:eek:
If that is supposed to be across the USA then that is far from realistic. You can't even drive across my state in that length of time and it is one of the smaller states.

$5 a month isn't that bad and on the plus side you get free games.
It is actually less than $5 a month if you pay for it by the year. I checked a couple of days ago and the 1 year price is $50 which would be less than $4.25 a month

No it isn't,I get where you're going with this but they still took away the choice to pay for online.

Actually, you never had the choice in the first place. With ps plus on ps3 and vita, you weren't paying for online gaming. Just the free content. I agree that it is splitting hairs and they are moving online gaming behind a paywall, but from what my friends tell me about ps plus, it's well worth it as is.

It's a shame for those who can't afford it, but at the same time, they are getting decent free games on a regular basis. If only a few of those games appeal to you, you'd still get your money's worth. Hell a friend of mine doesn't even have a ps3 (or a vita) right now but he has a ps plus account. He's just using his old psn account. You can "purchase" ps plus games on PC and download them to your console at a later date. He has about thirty games waiting for him to download when he buys a new ps3 next month. As long as you "purchase" them when they are available free in the ps plus section of the store, you can download them at any time. Providing your plus membership hasn't expired.

And on the bright side, at least services like Netflix and Hulu won't be hidden behind the paywall. I do understand why people are annoyed at having to pay to play online but I'm happy paying for plus. As long as they keep those free games coming.

If that is supposed to be across the USA then that is far from realistic. You can't even drive across my state in that length of time and it is one of the smaller states.

Don't tell me you were actually expecting a life size representation of the US. That would be impossible. From what I heard, it takes 90 minutes in a fairly fast car. It's still huge. I heard somewhere that their version of NYC was about the same size as liberty city in GTA:IV. Unless their version of NYC is disproportionately large compared to the rest of the map, it must be absolutely massive.

You can't even pay monthly.

I wouldn't be surprised if that becomes an option. Of course, if it happens it will work out slightly more expensive per month than a 3 month or 12 month subscription.
