or they don't care about fans who live in usa that they want pre-order digital edition in PSN Store. i can't believe that Xbox store has it for pre-order. USA psn store didn't

Dont forget that this is not only about the US. Its the whole America, from North Canada to South Argentina. No really american PSN Store has PCars digital pre-order.

Hmmm, seems I should've read up on things a bit: is there no way to access the five cars in the Limited Edition Pack other than the digital pre-order in North America? I just put $20 down on a physical PS4 copy today, but had I known, I probably would've grabbed it on the Store. Not that it's a big deal, since a PS4 is still a way's out for me, but I don't want to miss out on eventually getting to drive the F1 or M1 around.

This reminds me... according to my friends across the pond, and the Xbox/Steam peeps, there are only the two car packs available at the time of preorder.

Has anyone seen or heard or read anything pertaining to a "Season Pass"? I have no problems shelling out for one.

Details of the season pass were leaked just prior to the April release date but there is nothing official from SMS, though I'm sure we will hear soon because the release of PCars is almost here! :D

i pre ordered the xbox digital copy last night from US store. it included the main game and the 2 car packs. no sign of the season pass over on xbox.

Be careful as there are 2 different car packs. The one from Bestbuy and Gamestop pre-order is 'The Modified Car Pack', the one you get from digital download or Limited Edition of the game is 'The Limited Edition Car Pack'. Digital includes both packs, Bestbuy/Gamestop only come with 1, unless you pre-ordered the Limited Edition version of the game.

Oh, never noticed that, i ordered the limited edition anyway, so I'm good.
 
Guys I'm kinda new to all this digital pre-order thing on consoles so explain me this if you can, I will be able to pre-load the game on the day it releases on some days before?

Don't know about PS4's policy, but the game is already downloaded and installed on my Xbox One. Just waiting for whatever unlocks the game on the day it's released and I'm good to go.
 
This may or may not be pff topic, but it has been bothering me for quite some time. I preordered the game from gamestop in early november, before the original release date. I put down all $60 for the game. Do you know if i will be recieving the LE, with both packs, and/or the collectable case?

Still says 7th for me on UK PSN countdown. Should be the 8th.

I could be wrong but I thought you could download it on the sixth and play it in the seventh. The reason for the hard copy being the eighth is because the seventh is a bank holiday but that doesn't effect the digital as it won't be getting sold in shops that are closed on the seventh.

The bank holiday is the 4th of May, Maybe we are getting it on the 8th due to the general election on the 7th.

You will NOT get the LE cars from the Gamestop pre-order. Only the Modified Car Pack. I don't know about the case, but I think there's some poster in there as well. The ONLY way you can get the LE cars is by getting the physical LE in Europe or by getting the digital pre-order if you are in the US (or North America). There are no LE cars in any physical editions in the US (Or North America).

I don't know when we can start to download it on the PS4. I see some on here with the Xbox have it already installed! On the PCars website only the steam digital version is due for worldwide release on the 7th. The UK digital and hard copy officially release on the 8th but PSN had a date of the 7th even before the release dates were confirmed by SMS.
