Will you be buying a digital or hard copy of the game?

I find it really weird that a firm date of release is not decided yet on each platform. And also SMS could really answer about the us psn preorder problem.

The bank holiday is the 4th of May, Maybe we are getting it on the 8th due to the general election on the 7th.

Like I say I wasn't sure but there was definitely talk earlier this year of making general election day a bank holiday

I don't know when we can start to download it on the PS4. I see some on here with the Xbox have it already installed! On the PCars website only the steam digital version is due for worldwide release on the 7th. The UK digital and hard copy officially release on the 8th but PSN had a date of the 7th even before the release dates were confirmed by SMS.

PS Store is EU and the EU release date is 7th. If you're in the UK and you order on PS Store it will be available on the 7th.

i thought it would be 7th for the download, 8th for playing, just as SMS have quoted. if i get to play it on the 7th though i'll be well chuffed
 
Should be available to download whenever they next update the store. The "available" date is when it is available to play :)

Simply because they have to pay Sony to use the store feature and storing the file to be downloaded on their servers

Sony are selling at RRP. If other retailers want to sell below RRP for less margin that's up to them.

I don't normally buy digital myself but with the extra cars and earlier release date it seems like a good deal in this case.
 
I don't know if it's been covered here or not (sorry but haven't got the time to trawl through 12 pages), on the SMS website it says that you get both car packs from the Digital Download, but on the PS Store it says you only get one car pack - what's the truth here?

Yes. Go to your library, show all your content and Project CARS will be listed. It will have 3 items.
 
I know the digital version will get both car packs ,but i'm not sure if we will get "week early DLC" like the LE . Any thoughts

What? The only time I heard about getting DLC's earlier is with a Season pass (this is not confirmed!) but that has nothing to do with your version of the game

Yes, kudos to PSN Store for listing the correct release date a couple of weeks before the official announcement, but a slap on the back of the hand to them for not listing the full feature set for those who want to order. It only becomes obvious that both packs are included once it has been ordered.
 
I've pre ordered from the Uk PSN store a couple of months ago now but my question is that when I pre ordered I didn't pay it just asked for my details so will I have to put funds into my PSN wallet or will it just be taken straight from the account my bank card is linked with ?

if you've linked a card it'll come straight from that if you've no PSN wallet funds
 
I've got my PSN wallet topped up with £45 so there's not going to be any issues with the bank etc. Not taking any risks with this one!

I'm assuming the money will come off before the download starts? Which should be today sometime right?

If I don't pre order, does anyone at WMD know if the Limited Edition cars will be available at a later date?
 
Just went on playstation blog and the dude that usually answers are questions said he don't know about project cars being available to pre order. Oh my god this is getting really old. Sigh.... let me just wait until tuesday when the store updates.
