Pokémon GO: Catch 'Em All in the Real World

There's a pikachu near me and I want it so badly.

The only problem is it's apparently in someone's backyard like 3 streets over, and it's midnight I don't wanna get arrested for trespassing..
 
There is an Eevee near by and I cannot find it!. On the plus side, I have a Squirtle, Krabby, Weedle, Magnemite, Pidgeotto, Spearow and Rattata...
 
I'm currently at 24 Pokemon in an area that doesn't really have much to offer. Seems like the game is good at not leaving you out to dry for too long. Still not level 5 yet...
 
How are you all finding cool stuff when I'm drowning in Pidgeys for a 45 mile radius?!

Not as bad as some in Australia. Apparently the Darwin police station had to tell people not to walk in looking for Pokemon.

Teen travels to a river while playing Pokemon Go, finds a dead body instead

Well, there goes all the memes about Pokemon Go. Just days after its release in Australia, New Zealand, and the US, things have gotten dark with the game.

While many players have been sent to random locations like local churches and police stations to find Pokemon, a Wyoming teen ended up finding a dead body floating in a river on Friday morning.

“I was trying to get a Pokemon from a natural water resource,” 19-year-old Shayla Wiggins told local news. She climbed a fence towards the Big Wind River when she discovered a male body floating about three feet from the shore. Wiggins immediately called 911, where authorities said the body appeared to have been there for less than 24 hours.

“It was pretty shocking,” Wiggins said. “I was pretty scared and cried for a while.”

The local sheriff’s office released a statement today saying the death appears to be accidental.

“The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an adult male who was located in the Big Wind River under the Wyoming Highway 789 Bridge this morning around 8:40AM. The body was discovered by local resident who was walking in the immediate area. The death appears to be accidental in nature and possibly that of a drowning. There is no evidence at this time that would indicate foul play. Evidence located at the scene has led investigators to believe the man went into the water at the location he was found.”

Investigations are still ongoing.

Pokemon Go’s popularity continues to spike since the release and the servers are intermittently disrupted, so maybe it’s time to just go outside and try not to get into any trouble for the time being.

Can you imagine the memes that are going to come out of the incidents caused by this game... you can't make this stuff up. It's so absurd its almost comical! Nintendo have opened Pandora’s Box, it's going to be Facepalm heaven!

I know which is sad, cause we really should feel bad for the poor guy this girl found. But if anything I can only think of jokes.

The place I work actually has a lot of different Pokemon around it, but it has the important one; Eevee.

I'm at 5 caught already, and I want more...
 
Need more Eevees...

Actually had to use my skateboard in like so long to make the task of getting from place to place somewhat easier :lol:
 
There's that one tweet about about someone who caught a Pidgey at a strip club (more specifically, ON a stripper) , but I can't find it. :lol:

:lol: You're worse than me, the entire time I read that article I kept thinking "I wonder if she cried a ton cause she lost the pokemon she was after due to finding a dead body, tragic"
 
Just installed it and could choose between Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. Is this for everyone? Now I have to visit a Pokestop. Only a minute walk but it's 3 am, aaand not sure if I go there during daylight either.
