I censored my name because it has a swear in it :dopey:

Just out of chance what's your highest CP one.
I got one of 418

Right now it's Pidgeot with 497, though it'll be stronger once I get more stardust.

I see CP 1400+ Pokemon (mostly Flareons around here) in gyms regularly though. That said, I'm level 8 and they're level 20+.

My local park has the city art festival every year. So there are like a dozen stops on an acre or two of land. Kids dropping lures like crazy.

This game even has a local photographer/storm chaser I follow hooked. He's wondering what he'll find out in the middle of the desert while he's out chasing monsoon storms. On the flip side, I had to hide 5 posts from another person in my feed as they ranted on about how stupid older people are for playing it.

Well they're stupid, a local radio jockey is also hooked and was talking about it this morning.

I caught a Voltorb and Electrode yesterday in my local supermarket, they were everywhere. It's funny how certain areas are absolutely crawling with Pokemon.

It would be perfect if there was shinies in the game.

I never understood the allure of shinies after all these years, a slightly different color scheme...eh. If they actually had a stat boost or other factors only they had I could see how great they are, but being a super rare color not so much.

For me personally it's just the shock factor, seeing something in a form they wouldn't normally be. Totally understandable that someone may not like them - they are totally cosmetic after all.

So, I also got Go recently. Gotta say, I'm not that hooked, yet. At least not to the point that I'd be running around outside specifically to grab a bunch of Pokémon  I don't know, I don't perceive it as much of a game yet.

At least makes walking to and from university a Little more enjoyable, as well as going out shopping with the misses ;)

I'm kinda kicking myself for picking Charmander... In hindsight, I'd like a Blastoise better than a Charizard, eventually :indiff:

First off, I got leveled up from 2 to 6 just by a 2 hours drive into places. You can probably try it, be it by yourself or as a passenger.

Second:
IS DAILY MAIL THE MOST DANGEROUS NEWS SITE? CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE!

Note: The link discuss what news did for traffic by having a clickbaity negativity that can possibly ruin Pokemon GO community perception in public as a whole.

So I was just reading a few things and I guess Mall Of America is a huge hotspot,
30 stops, 3-4 gyms, lots of lures. Going to probably try our smaller mall and see later today. Maybe I can get a free lunch out of it too.

If I remember my youth correctly, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres were the last of their kind. So does this mean theres only going to be up to 3 players who've p***ed everyone else off?

I imagine they'll do some sort of events for legandaries so people can get them - similar to the games.

You must not want to catch 'em all then. :P

Shinies are rare and hard to get. It's the thrill of the hunt, and since they're different (it's more than a slight difference, btw...Shiny Ninetales for example is light blue when the normal one is tan/orange) from normal Pokemon they're worth it to catch even though they don't have a separate dex entry. I mean, who wouldn't turn down the opportunity for a red Gyarados???

Plus when you've already beaten everything in the game and caught all the normal Pokemon, finding Shinies gives you something challenging to do.

If Pokemon Go had Shinies it would be awesome, though I feel like if they do add them you'll have to pay for them.
