Hey dude, it's a racing game not a trading game. If you want all the cars work for them yourself. Ktnxbai.

Nice Poll btw........ o.O

Where is the poll. Any way I don't mind the 1 mill credit limit but would like the 1 car per day removed. Maybe even make it a limit of 5 just as long as it is not 1 per day.

👍

I'd personally say if there is a trade limit in credits in place, I think we should get our limit removed if so.

What's the point of the 1000 car's trophy if you can trade so much for it? Ruin another aspect of the game smart move.

I voted to remove the 1,000,000 credit limit only, because I think getting rid of the 1 car per day limit could clog up the servers.

Had not thought of that. Still I think if they raised the limit to 3 cars per day and kept the 1 mill limit then it wouldn't get to clogged up.

I voted for both removed on accident :dunce:

5 trades a day from main account would be cool with the 1M cr limit.

I say 5 trades because I must wait to gift cars like the 1971 'Cuda and 1970 Chevelle, these are 40,000 credits and its a pain to remember to give them away, I have a life to live.

EDIT: I like the idea from Mc-Soap-90

The thing that irks me the most are comments such as these:

First of all, the whole "its a racing game not a trading game" comment is purely subjective. There is clearly a collecting aspect to the game and it was also clearly marketed with the ability to trade with friends. Sure, PD didn't have the exploitation in mind, but that doesn't make it wrong? I mean if you don't like the trading, then you could simply not trade? I'm not sure how it affects you at all?

What's the point of the 1000 car's trophy if you can trade so much for it? Ruin another aspect of the game smart move.

This second remark is equally off base. If someone chooses to trade or dupe their way to the 1000 cars trophy, then who cares? Is it cheating? Thats for you to decide, but how does someone else "cheating" affect you being able to get the 1000 cars trophy? How does it ruin any part of the game, other than you (seemingly) being jealous about someone "cheating" their way to a trophy without affecting you in the slightest?

I think there are good arguments to support the trade block and good arguments against it. But I haven't seen many (if any) posts on this forum that highlight any of them?

That all said, I think the limits are silly. If people want to dupe the premium cars to infinity thats great, because all it does is allow players (such as myself) who don't dupe, and check the UCD religiously to trade cars that are very cheap, but VERY rare, for cars that are much more common, but are much more expensive.

But I'm open to logical debate on the matter. If there is such a thing in this forum?

You could also buy 1000 carts for the trophy or any other cheap car 1000 times so I don't think trading really ruins that trophy.

Or why can't we at least accumulate 1M per day if we don't trade, and trade a 20M car after 20 days for example? I think this could be a good compromise.

Personally, I'd just like to see the 1mil limit raised or removed. I'm fine with the 1 trade per day per PS3.

The 1M Cr limit is bad also because when you get cars you already have and you can't trade them, now I have an extra FGT and an extra F10, what i'm gonna do with them ?

Keep the cap, just raise them.
5 million cr. to 10 million cr. sounds enough for the cr. limit.
And trade 5-10 cars a day.
Paint chip trade is already sufficient.

Trade limit needs to go higher, 2 AT LEAST would be helpful.

1,000,000 probably could go to 2,000,000. No higher though.

I think since we have all paid money for this game we should be allowed to share whatever we want with our friends. I think both limits should be removed so we can enjoy the cars in the game. Not everyone has the time to save up money to buy one car, then do it all over again. Why not just have a friend send you it? This game was cool when it first came out but now that it is being controlled to s**t it's just no fun anymore. I get the point that they want a civilised game but let us have some freedom with it. Our console, our game, our choice.

I think this cumulative trade idea is a great compromise!

Ultimately, people will need to realize that PD did this for 2 reasons.

1. They didn't want people duping. Whether you think it's cheating or not shouldn't matter, PD thought it was a problem. and...

2. People selling cars on ebay for real money. Not only is that a copyright issue, but it's just plain wrong. Of course... the wrong bit is just my opinion, but copyright problems are law (based on country of course).

So the only "fix" to this problem will likely need to keep those in mind.

I don't see PD keeping the limit on permanently, because it will make people sour about the game, and lets face it... when GT1 came out, it was ground breaking, but the competition wasn't exactly the greatest. Now that GT5 is out, people have other options.

That said, I think that cumulative trade limit would be great! It would significantly increase the effort required to dupe cars, and it would still allow freedom for trading. It would also help to add to the longevity of the game.

I expect that PD will probably lift the cap after some time because they'll assume that only the "hardcore" fans will have stuck with the game for so long, and all of the people that were just duping will have moved on.

Raise both limits at least. I just want to enjoy driving my favorite cars without jumping through stupid hoops. Only have enduros left now. No point in "working" for cars I want if there's nothing worthwhile in the game to do.
