Level 40 character which was accidentally deleted then level 60 character which became inaccessible for no reason (but is still technically active) then level 105 character on a new PSN account.

I'd do both. Transfer it to your PS4 so you can get the online related trophies (if R* code them to unlock that way) and start it new on your PC.
 
Got a new PC (less than 1 month old) with i5, GTX660 and 8GB RAM, I think that this one I'll take for PC and not for console...

I'm not going to buy a new PC, a new PS4 and 2 copies of the same game.
 
Hmm I dunno getting platinum the first time round was a bitch after 400hours of gameplay. But I might think about getting it because it was just that damn fun to drive around also can spend more time in mp.

You do know that GTA Online will be included in the X1 version of GTA 5 and you'll be able to transfer your GTA Online progress from your 360 version to your X1?

Yes I knew that. That's what I am saying. If it is the EXACT same thing then I will just keep the 360 version. Because the only thing I play is GTA online.

I'm sure there's more additions along with the content they've released. To me it makes sense to be able to transfer the Online progress to PS4 so I can carry it on in the new gen. But it's up to you.

I like that feature as well especially after the hard work. So hopefully there are some dramatic differences between the X1 version and the 360 version. That's why I still feel they might drop the bombshell and only release heists on the PC, X1, and PS4. No matter what I am keeping my 360 for many more years even after I get the X1. Lets just see what they have to offer otherwise I will just play it on the 360.

My Online progress was up to level 30 so it's ideal for me. I'm happy with it moving over to the next gen consoles regardless of the Online content. They've said there's overall more details than the 7th gen versions and there's still new content to come along with a single player DLC which I'd imagine will be included in the PS4 and X1 versions.

I'm keeping my PS3 for years to come as well, gotta have something to play PS2 and PS1 games on ;)
 
I think I am somewhere around level 120-130. I tried to check the social club but its not working.
 
I am going to as could of brought a PS4 a while ago but didn't as I only really play GT6 and GTA V and they are only on the current gen so when GTA V is out on next gen ill get a PS4.
 
I haven't yet upgraded to next-gen yet but will do soon. I'm going to be getting an XBONE because of Forza and I'll likely be getting this as well. Currently there are like 0 games from the next-gen department apart from these two that really interest me. Forza because I'm tired of GT6 and GTA because GTA.

Just one question; When it says you can transfer your online character to your choice of next-gen console does it mean I can transfer my character from PS3 to XBONE? I bet it does that through social club.
 
I'm getting an X1 plus the game, I would like to know though, if I can transfer a PS3 Online character to the X1. If I can't then I'll keep waiting for something truly awesome to make a decision.

They did post this after the E3.
All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available for the PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One and PC with much more to come. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation®4, Xbox One or PC.

It could mean new things, or it could just be referring to all the DLC released & then some (like the story or heists DLC).
 
I am thinking on buying the PS4 just for this, I have this game on PS3, and there are games that do not call my attention on the PS4, just pCars, but, buying a console with just for two games? I've never did that, I got the PS1 with 7 games, got the PS2 with 6 games and a PS3 with 6 games :(

This is a hard decision, I know there'll be a lot of content in the next-gen version... but one game is just not... funny
 
I have ps3 version.as soon as I found out it annoyed me.it looks incredible on a ps3 so imagine how it will look on a ps4.incredible ! a few world cup bets went my way. went and bought a ps4..only 1 game at the moment but iam prepared now.....for a long wait.....

Not if it's full price. Unless there's a sizable migration of GTP users to the PS4 version then I still remain skeptical.

It's gonna be full price, there's no reason why it wouldn't be. The PC version might be a little cheaper and you might be able to grab it in a steam sale after a while but other than that I will be incredibly surprised if it's any cheaper than the original was on launch day.

R* could have at least offered a PS3-to-PS4 and 360-to-One upgrade for something like £10 for those who already the previous-gen versions on disc or digitally.

They really should have done this.

I've traded in my PS3 version already along with my PS3 version of The Last Of Us.

So the PS4 GTA V will cost me less than £25.
 
I'll eventually buy it, either for ps4 when I eventually get one, or for PC, if I go down that route instead.

But no, I'm not buying a ps4 solely for GTA.
