Should the Stealth and Chromelines Cars be available as DLC?

Just buy the CE, the apex magazine makes it worth it imo. you can still get collectors edition copies. i have the chromeline cars and they're ok, but nothing overly special.
 
I have to agree with Austin125. Chrome line is not worth it.

To my opinion, Stealth isn't eaither, but they look kind of special. Other than that, you would be basically paying for cars that are already in the game but with a different look.

Just as Car Pack 1, I really don't see myself spending on this.
 
Isn´t it one of the main reasons why people buy special editions over the standard edition to get the so called exclusive DLC and extra stuff. So in my opinion it should stay exclusive to the people who bought the special editions of Gran Turismo 5. People who also want the Stealth cars and/or Chrome-line cars should've bought/ordered the SE or CE back in the days when GT5 was about to be released. I always say don't complain/whine if you don't want to pay for something extra. Just my 2 cents about this whole "exclusive" DLC.
 
I don't see why not, I don't believe in this exclusive garbage although it should be paid DLC and not free just to be fair

Not only would they never be able to get away with charging money for something that has been on the game disc since day one, but the self-important people would come out of the woodworks to protest it.

Also the way they gave the nsx/gt-r could repeat itself.

Anyway I don't really care about the chrome lines not being released in the us besides one. Its super unfair the xj13 was never released to the us period. There is no reason not to open the facebook game here too. Also only 4 out of the 6 stealths available were released in the us so my opinion is release the ones never available under any circumstances in your country.
 
If they are available to a cost which match the extra cost of the special editions, there should not be any reason to not to seld dem as DLC.
 
These cars just mean the player has more cash than others and is more aware of the game coming out.

If these players put more cash towrds PD to make their game better and the kick back is they geta cute Hello Kitty Car or a My Little Pony Ferrari then great.

But they bought the exclusivity of that car. I don't really see that a DLC at that added cost level would be that bad.

I used to like the older GT's when a Gold licence pass meant you won a car that was Hen's Teeth rare and having one was a four wheel badge that said "I have acid for blood and can survive in a hard vacuum."
 
How does it hurt me to allow someone to buy content that I have had for almost two years, plus it adds revenue to PD that will hopefully allow them to stop dragging their feet.
 
I prepose that we get the stealth cars with a different skin on them, that way we arent necessarily getting the stealth car but we can still drive them...or something. i'm not sure how to explain myself.
 
Like a stealth GT-R with a Pennzoil livery...or a Matte Black Audi R10 TDI..I get that but we would want those too..:lol:
 
I really feel that they should make them DLC. Like others have said before, this will lead to PD getting more money to improve their games.
 
I'm also for DLC. I have the CE so I'm partly in the exclusive club, but I don't care whether others could buy the cars or not. I wanted the Stealth Cars too, but apart from those nothing else interested me (I wanted the Nissan, but they switched it to the Merc and imo it's colour was horrible) from the Signature Edition so paying that price for some cars was not worth it.
 
Earlier today while looking to pre-order GT5 Academy Edition I also found the Collectors Edition for a mere £35, I swear I had searched for it before (although after release) and I never bought it so can only assume it was either unavailble or cost more than it does now.
Not sure if this is common knowledge but didn't think it warranted its own thread so thought it would best go here for anyone who was desperate for the chromeline's from the collectors edition, £35 on play.com £38 on amazon only half a dozen or so in stock on both, I didn't look anywhere else.
 
Buy a signature edition if u want these cars - in my opinion they should never be released as DLC - u want them, buy the GT5 S.E.

Just my 2 cents
