It would be interesting to see the number of people using a specific steering wheel (DF GT, G25, G27, Any Fanatec Products) on this demo. Based on this we could see which steering wheel is popular.

:)

I would also add the dfp to the poll as it is a popular wheel, otherwise its DFGT all the way for me!!

wow the g25 is proving to be popular. I wonder if the H shifter works on the TT demo? Plus you can't use the clutch. I guess everybody is using the paddles to shift from gear to gear :dunce:

Shifter works but there isnt really a point for using it unless you want to change more than 1 gear at a time, which doesnt really come in as a factor while racing. Might aswell use paddles.

I'm using the Fanatec Turbo S wheel with standard pedals.

I'm using it with H shifter and clutch with Prologue (right foot braking + heel and toe). Perfect. Shifter is way better than the one on the G25.

With GT Academy, I'm only using paddles and left foot braking.

DFGT for me. Such a good value. I got it mint condition for 60 bucks. The only real thing it's missing from the G wheels is just the clutch and separate shifters. Not sure if I'd pay an extra 150-200 bucks for those. Granted, the quality may be slightly higher also.

Nice to know there are so many G25 users.

I think that a controller should be added just to see total so everybody could vote. No I'm not using a controller I have a G25.

Driving Force :(

My sweethart G27 that makes me feel I dont diserve her when I spin the tail out almost every corner of the GT5 TT *heartbroke*:lol::lol:

I voted other because I currently use a controller. However I may purchase a DFGT at the end of next week. $65 shipped off of eBay isn't bad at all.

I use the Driving Force GT and love the wheel, but am eyeing a Fanatec or G25/27.

There is just something about the security of knowing, by my very hand, exactly what gear I am in.

I've seen your time stick with controller you might get too fast with a wheel:sly:

got a G25 and a G27 tried both out G27 all the way much smoother better feedback also!!! 👍

I'm using the Fanatec GT3 RS with Clubsport pedals, but it's giving me a bit of a headache.
It's a fantastic wheel for simracing, although not 100% compatible with GT5 TT it seems. My old Logitech DFP actually gave me a smoother ride and lowered my best time with .2 secs after just 6 laps, including 3 laps to readjust my driving to fit the new (old) wheel. The best Fanatec time was set after about 4 hours of driving.

I am not very competitive person but i really enjoy playing new demo with Fanatec turbo S wheel. I can now say i can now drift TT demo, but slides are not currenty very smooth :)
I will upload my drifting stuff from demo to youtube if anyone is interested:

drift mode 1 gives me best results so far.
