Without duping there would be a trading market via fansites (such as GTPlanet).

Now duping is possible I think PD may as well allow anyone to buy any car whenever they like.

I think there should be a standard car dealership where it has normal road cars, and then there should be a dealership which has 32 random cars but they consist of very fast race cars and LeMans cars (them type of cars)

Theres not a lot of very fastcars/Le Mans cars so that wouldnt work very well, unless maybe it was 10 cars or something.

Your right, i didn't think of it like that, to make it more interesting it would probably be better if it was 5.

I think there should be 2 UCDs, 1 for Race Cars the other for Road Cars.

Not a bad idea, then you don't have keep going through all the cars you really don't want.

Not really sure where I stand on the UCD. I like the surprise of seeing what may be there, but more often than not, they are mainly cars I don't want

i think that if you go in the UCD right now, you will find a Mazda MX-5 cos theres so many:censored:MX-5s in this game.

I like the CONCEPT of the UCD, like many CONCEPTS that I don't think worked out (cough track builder cough). That said, there are issues.

Unless you really want to own like 400 Nissan Skylines.

Leave the UCD for the standard road cars but have all of the race cars available for purchase all the time from the new car dealership. It's hard enough making money in this game, then when you have enough for a decent race car you can't find one in the UCD. You have to wait and wait and wait... then you end up spending the money on a few unnecessary road cars, do a few more races and bang! The race car you were waiting for finally shows up and you haven't enough money for it. Then you try to do a few more races to earn more money and it's gone from the UCD because it cycles out. Not a great setup at all!

All of the race cars in the game should have been premium cars to begin with. We're paying upwards of 5 million credits for many of them. That's a lot of money for a standard car! They should have all been in the new car dealership from the start with zero miles on them. The current setup of paying close to 5 million credits for some of these cars, and then having to invest another 1 million for an engine and chassis rebuild because of high mileage is a bit ridiculous. It encourages folks to birthday glitch for zero mile race cars.

In GT 4, it has been possbile to buy the car which i drive in real life by entering the dealership. Now, it has become a real challenge to aquire the car because i have to wait for it to show up. But since it has been in GT4, it is definately in GT 5, too. I hope i will find it, at some time.

No, because its good how it is.
You dont have to be able to buy all the cars all the time.
It's like finding rare items in a RPG. I love it.

Its not perfect the way it is but waay better then your suggestion.

Sounds like real life to me, maybe GT5 is to realistic.
You can always trade! Get creative.

I regret my vote for a "yes". I pretty much appreciate it the way it is now, it's some extra excitement. Of course thanks to those dupers there's not much rarity left, but it still lets my heart beat faster when there's for example a C9 in the UCD.

im voting no.. othervise I wouldnt have those cars that I now own becous they would allways be there.... once I buy a group C car I usually gain enough cash til the next one shows up. I havent bought one premium lmp/ Group C yet becouse I know it will be there so they will be the last ones I'll get.. I got like 8-9 LMP atm and I haven dupped once and never will.. got one trought the 1000 ticket tho

EDIT: Shame on you voting NO, you just one of those guys who wanna get trough the game quick as possible and you want the cars you love like right away, you dont wanna take your time getting it and dont bring that 🤬 about I can only play an hour a day.. Its Gran Turismo and the way I remember it it does take a whole lot of effort and time getting trough the game. I have never gotten so far trought any other GT as I have now within this short time (2 months?) smh..... 👎 Im at 92% and yes I've put some hours to it but if this was GT4 or lets say GT2 guess I'd still hit licences or be round 50% at max.... Delete poll so PD want do something stupid and remove the UCD in a future patch or GT6 lol

In real life you can always take a loan out to buy the car when it's available if you don't have enough money. You can also go to a new car dealership and buy any new car you are looking for (including Porsche), provided you have the money and/or can secure a loan. GT5 is not anything like real life and it really shouldn't be. It's just a video game designed by folks with some serious control issues.

They should just make any car available to purchase at anytime you want.

I agree, though I can sort of see a psychological reason for featuring a select number of cars. Perhaps they want you to try as many as possible, not just the ones you already like. And with all the standard models let's be honest we don't really want to try a bunch of cars we can't enjoy in a-spec. But you might consider a vintage oddity among 1,000 skylines, even if you've never heard of it.

I voted No, I'm quite happy with the UCD the way it is.

But whatever each to his own.👍

Voted no. It would be a good idea to be able to get the cars you want pretty quickly, but I like the idea of waiting for that certain car you want in the UCD. Theres also nice surprises sometimes, which feel good when they happen. :)

I actually love the UCD mechanic. It pushes me to buy cars I wouldn't usually buy, making the game a lot more exciting for me.

First post on GTP! =)
