If Porsche wants to come to GT, the price of getting the license for them would be lowered. Porsche and Ferrari, Kaz said those were too expensive to have in the game a few years ago. Anything related to GT that has Ferrari in it, there's gotta be a notice somewhere saying that it's special. It's not like that for Lamborghini (new to series).

That information might seem irrelevant, but I figured it means SOMETHING.

Depends if they can get the license agreement.

Thank you for getting me excited with the thread title....

Just because a rival game, which is in no way associated with this one, puts out a pack of cars doesnt mean we will magically get one.

Here we go again..

This. Thank you

Honestly, people have made these sort of predictions all the time, and they never come to fruition. What is the point of this thread? I think we have a similar thread already anyways...

Something must be changed...

Maybe... but not in GT5... My guess is that we won't see Porsche until GT6/7...

EA owns the exclusive Porsche license. Turn10 could make an agreement with Porsche and EA. I think Sony will not make an Agreement with EA, Porsche, because they have financial Problems and GT sells well without Porsche.
And they should license other Cars First and invest in Sound and so on.

We have already a Thread for Porsche discussion.

No, EA doesn't own the exclusive license anymore, it just expired recently, hence Forza getting a bunch of Porches...did you even see the OP?

And there's that dumb "GT sells well without this" argument. GT5 sold decently in 2010. This is 2012. And besides, just because GT doesn't have something, why not implement it just because GT "sells well without it"?

Turn 10 paid EA enough money to air condition hell.

It needs pointed out that Forza did recently acquire Porsche but at the same time it wasn't recent at all. EA had the rights to Porsche before FM4 and before GT5. They had the rights when FM3 came out, and when FM2 came out before that, both of which had Porsche despite EA having the license. As I recall, this was a result of Turn 10 sub-licensing it from EA. By the time of FM4, EA didn't agree to sub-licensing it this time around.

We can only hope for new RUF car comes to GT5.

Porsche is over rated. There i said it.

Never expired, Forza just got sub-license from EA. GT is still selling, so your argument is invalid. People doesn't buy GT for only NASCAR, or Ferraris. So yes, GT does sell well without Porsche.

At least we should get this Porsche...
