I'm hoping the 991 isn't blocked by EA. Surely the one Porsche would benefit most from is having the free advertising of their new staple product in a big game like Forza.

I doubt EA has the control of which model they can or can't use.
It would be good for EA to only have the best and newest Porsches, but it wouldn't be smart for Porsche, who in the end probably have the final say.

2003 Porsche Carrera GT

FTW :D

But check out the front wheel arch, what's going on here then?!

Nice! I knew this car was in. Looks great too!!

edit: just looking at the pic, but is there a modeling issue with the front fender and the wheel?

The whole side looks completely wrong IMO, hope it's just a photo mode glitch. Yuck!

Thankfully BADNED says it will have fully working active Aero which is nice.

The real deal

Damn I can't wait to drive this car. I am taking this cat on Suzuka ASAP and reliving the lap Gan san did. :o "Oh BABY!"

I think whats making it look weird is the light thats reflecting off of the body panel behind the arch, seems like there is too much light and thats what's making it stand out so much. The issue I have is with the air vent behind the door, its way to small, making the rear seem a lot narrower then it is.

My semi-obligatory response to the Carrera GT being included.

Here's to hoping that either the 911 GT1...

...or the homologated Straßenversion make it in to the pack.

Carrera GT??? Alright, that's better. Now finish it off T10 with the Beast GT2 RS and GT3 RS 4.0.

... by the way, what's up with the fender on that Carrera GT? Was there an update most of us don't know about to the car? I personally have never seen this car in real life.

Dont understand the complaints about the model of the GT. Its the same fault you can put on every other car in the game, the bad lighting. The front arch is correct on the model.

If I were a betting man, I'd say that the Carrera GT is certain to be included as one of the 7 returning FM3 cars remaining :D

The GT2 RS & GT3 RS 4.0 as 2 of the 3 remaining new cars, I'm not so sure about.

Unless I am totally mistaken.

Whoops. Forgot your post. There is still hope. :D

So here is the FM3 car list. Cars in bold are already announced to be in FM4. The cars with strike-throughs are my predictions of what will get cut based on duplicates or newer models announced for FM4 (the NEW list below the FM3 list). I'd bet alot of the remaining 2005/2006 cup cars will get purged too. I'd say all the cars in red are a sure bet to come back.

Something is definitely off with the lighting in this picture. The light source would have had to come from 2 different angles to light up the front area behind the wheel and to light up inside the vent behind the door "that" much. Not only that the light would have to come from a much lower angle than what the sun would be coming in at.

Sorry but just noticed this pic and had to comment on how hideous it looks. :yuck:

Looks odd around the wheel arch to me also.
If you remember dans lighting claim though he explained that light sources wouldn't be from one source but light that bounces back from track etc.

Er I think.
