 I love your entry for the photoshop comp! 👍
Don't have time to do one myself this week unfortunately :(, had a couple of ideas though.

Billy Zane: "It's a [drive]-off". Nice homage to Zoolander CCShaft. Great entry - made me laugh with the poses. "I think I'm getting the black lung [B-Spec Bob], cough, cough." :dopey:

The photoshop entry is just brilliant, nice work.
"He should've married me".

:D heh heh.. thanks guys :) its nice to not take things too seriously now and again and see the lighter side of GT life. Bob as Derek Zoolander... I couldn't pass the opportunity up. :sly:

Apologies for this update if its a little too much but the fact is I so enjoyed this car/session and found it difficult to put the camera away :).

Long story short I was donated the car as a prize by TVR & FF via skylinefx who won the Photoshop comp but due to circumstances passed it down to me by virtue of being runner-up so I was hyped to pick this gem... the Art Morrison Corvette '60 .

This session is a Black and White one due to reasons I'll explain when you see the last photo 👍.

This next photo is probably one of my personal faves but the frustration is I only had around 30 seconds to fire it off because the light changes so quickly to the somewhat tacky neons that change colour, main reason why I stuck to B/W so if someone else has any idea how to keep the initial light or can tell me if it ever cycles around again .

Still I hope you like... feedback is very much obliged :sly:

Great work, I like the composition in number 7. I just can't help but feel that those rims detract from the shots for me. I just hate 'em.

Anyway. As usual, great work. 👍

Love the shots. I'm glad you went with black and white regardless of the reasons - they turned out great. You have a talent for bringing out details and reflections. You did a great job on the last one as well - nice color choice for the car, and the composition is great as well. I like the curve of the structure in conjunction with the lines on the Vette.

This would have been the strongest of them all if the wheel was pointed at me. The background in this is the least distracting of all the pics. The editing is a bit extreme, but I understand you have to go a bit overboard in B/W to make it pop.

Thank FJ 👍 admire your honesty, I don't really like or dislike these rims :indiff: I just think these ones are more suited to this car than any of the others GT5 has to offer... kind of retro looking.

Great work on the Vette shots and yeah the changing lights are hell to take good shots in the Hangar

Cheers man :) I love the location but not the ambient lighting, its so annoying waiting for it to go through its cycle :grumpy:.

Love it, some of the shots remind me of a retro American diner

👍 I never thought of that but I think you are spot on... has a fifties americano style now I look at it more closely.

Thanks a lot P.O. :)👍 I only wish I could have took a few more colour shots... time to look for a new locale for another shoot methinks 💡

Fantastic set! You can never have too much of the Art Morrison. :)

 Beautiful B&W pics.

WOW, just WOW 👍

So much appreciated guys :D... makes me very happy and humble that you liked them. 👍

Many thanks Cano :) I really, really do appreciate this kind of constructive criticism because theres always more to strive for... you never notice these minor details until someone points them out, these little pointers you have indicated there will definitely be taken on board 👍

damn, I need a auto-drool button for your gallery! Those Corvette shots are the source of every drool face excisting!

Absolutely beautiful:drool:👍

I love the fifth shot.

woo hoo :):) thanks a lot chaps 👍

I thought I would'nt find another photo session as good as that one..... until this weeks CCCL :). The old 'Mazzer' has to be one of the biggest faves of mine and I ended up shooting over 100 shots  ( I know ... :boggled: ) and so with that its going to take a while to get through them all for selecting an upload to the gallery...

...in the meantime :sly:

5854265674_8dc51d9624_z.jpg

till we meet again ... very soon :)

100 shots . I probably would have got a lot of pictures if it was at a different track. I don't like taking pictures in Tokyo that much.

CCShaft7

Well its taken a while (and you'll probably see why :sly:) and have finally finished .... for the time being ..... with the Maserati. WARNING: Lots of pics coming up and @ashes619 I understand why you maybe don't like the 246 track to photograph but I love it because it has loads of phototravel like locations that you just don't notice when your speeding around 120mph + so I hope you and others might reconsider after seeing these 👍

phew!! ....I even had to cut those down from my intended upload . I enjoyed taking those so hope you like them too :)

Wow, you are right, I've never noticed those details before. I envision this is how Mr. Yamauchi drives to work every day... :dopey: Actually, one of my more recent goals was to see if I can do a clean lap at Tokyo with the throttle all the way down on the X2010. I can do it up until the last corner with my DS3, then I have to slow down a tad bit. At those speeds though, there is no way to see the beautiful scenery you have captured. Great photos! Photos 1, 4, and 5 are my favorites - very realistic and beautifully done. You have inspired me to revisit this track in a more suitable vehicle for the purposes of taking photos rather than scraping paint off the sides and killing road barriers. :scared:

Spectacular! I also loved doing the shoot for the CCCL comp and had many shots very similar to yours (but not as good). :)

i guess i´ve told you already how much i like them :D

Love them:tup:

Very nice shots. Good luck in the CCCL. 👍

Awesome set!!

:D:D Thank you all so much 👍 I am so hyped :) (and relieved :scared:) that you like the set.

@Primus its definitely worth a revisit when you get the opportunity, just take a cruise around in an open top is probably preferable.... its surprising what you might find. The city tracks seem to have a lot more P.O.I.'s like London, Madrid and Rome.
Will be making a point of going back again myself real soon 👍

Great shots at Tokyo! 👍 I personally find it difficult to shoot there because of the lighting, but you did a great job with that.

So. Bloodeh. Shiny.

I did the 5th and 6th ones. The 5th looks like it was taken early in the morning, and I like that effect. Also like the shot of the tail lamp but you know I'm a sucker for close-ups.

Thanks man 👍 Yeah the lighting is'nt the best compared to other tracks but I do like the areas cast in shadow if you can get the right position :)

Cheers 👍 that 5th shot is just what I was talking about, a good example of dappled sunlight through the trees which is'nt easy to find. Took a lot of fast finger pausing lol :sly:
