I'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you, I appreciate your sympathy. I'm a little downed that I wasn't around for his final moments (I'm about a 2 hour drive away right now), but I'm not particularly distraught over it - he's not the first pet we've lost, and honestly I'm just glad that he didn't seem to be in much pain.

Lady the weimaraner passed away today. She had a very bad seizure this afternoon and had a heart attack while she was being prepared for euthanasia. The above picture is about 5 1/2 years old.
