Just gonna leave this here......

My OCD agrees. Of the two cars on different wheels, even them are or nearly the same!

And red seem to be pretty popular over there. Hardly see any red BMW's here.

They all have the performance package (ZHP). In the U.S. Imola Red was exclusive to that package and M3's. It seems to be the most bought color on these, though still a bit out of proportion.

Ask @SVX what he thinks of the power. I dyno'd it with the old engine at 100whp but it has a pretty flat torque curve until 6k when power and torque take a huge dive. I suspect the new engine has a bit more power but not by much. It's fast enough to get you into trouble if you really wanted to. Normal road driving I change gears at 4k rpm but once you climb above that and keep it there it goes pretty well for what it is. Good throttle response vs some of the turbo cars I've driven.

I didn't have my car on this run but here are some photos of some of the cars in the club down my way. The fully white AW11 is the one with the black top and 6 speed from a ZZT Celica.

Sounds similar to a 4AGE then, about 4-6k is the sweet spot. The TVIS kicks in at about 3800 and it makes a noticeable difference once all the intake runners open up.

And that's a 2ZZ in that? Would be interesting to drive that, seems like it'd be similar enough to a 4AGE but with a lot more power. Not that I'm complaining. :p

Only thing I hate about the 5sfe in the duece is the 6000 redline. Idk why but that always bothered me. Still wish I had got a SW as my first car. It's just the best looking car.

Yea that's the same complaint I have about my Celica, it's not a very rev happy engine. Plenty of torque which is nice though, plus they sound surprisingly nice with exhausts!

For what it is though, it works pretty well in that car I think. Just don't buy one with power steering for the love of god.

Sorry the engine is a Black Top 4AGE from an AE111 but the gearbox is from the ZZT 6 speed Celica. Just bolts up mostly with a few minor mods to get the shifter to work in reverse. Which is almost the same thing that Toyota did with the FWD boxes to get the MR2 to work.

The GEN2 3SGE revs to 7k redline but revving over 6k in any gear except 1st is pretty pointless.
As you can see in this dyno graph based on road speed the power takes a huge dive at (155kph) 6,200rpm.

I miss Maclennan Performance! They were a good bunch of guys.

Okay I need your opinions, I just got a new hood to keep things cooler on the track and a new grill. I'm not sure if it would look good to have the side vents painted black or the same color as the rest of the hood which will be the same color as the rest of the car.
The center inlet will be the same black as the roof going up to the end of the bulge.
The grill mesh will also be all black. Also, those hood pins are just temporary for fitting everything on, I have some flush aerocatch one that will be going on.

Edit: the grill might go, not quite liking the look of it.

I think the bonnet as one colour would look best (personally). Painted vents might look like they were added on instead of being apart of the bonnet.

I don't think anyone got any shots of mine but I went and beat up some cones myself in the Turbo ZX... learned she's a LOT squishier than I thought and the hankook street tires are among the worst I've ever auto crossed... the stock power was far too much for the tires to hold...
everyone else was racing... I was trying not to drift... and not doing a very good job

I call bologna. Aren't you a teenager? I mean, that's a really, really, nice (and expensive) Audi for someone young. Call me jealous, but I have doubts.

It's not completely my car yet, my dad bought it for me for after college as a daily driver. We are sharing it right now. The title is in his name right now to clear up any doubts. Do I need to post a picture of a can of beans on the engine? @SPhilli911

I didn't even get taken out for dinner after graduating and you're getting a $40k+ vehicle.

Sounds fair.

Nah, no need for beans. Lucky you, my college graduation gift was crippling debt!

Could be, but Audi S3s are pretty darn expensive cars. Not that it's impossible for someone young to own one but it seems very unlikely to me.
I can't see why it would be so unlikely. Yes, it's an expensive car, but at the same time it's not really expensive enough that having slightly more upper-class parents couldn't make getting one achievable.

I kind of hope that the one behind isn't an indication of what the one in front is going to look like.
