Nice GT. I have a Schwinn, myself. It has an extruded aluminum chassis and the same style front fork. I like it a lot. I would show a picture, if I was at home in Wisconsin.

Very nice! Ive never really liked the Cannondale design of front forks, though.

Give me one of these though!

One of my math teachers from highschool was a huge biking fan. He has a frame that his wife bought for him that's worth $4,000 us. itself. It's a really nice bike. It is a frame that is custom fit to him that if it was .0001 of an inch off, they would have tossed it in the making process.

Me? I ride in my area up in the hills more. I like to do more XC with my friend. I started in may and was up to my friends level by aug. then we took the semester off (not by choice) and we've gotten back to riding in Jan. He's been biking for 2-4 yrs? I did a little road biking but I started with XC running and then hockey so I had a good base to catch up with him in a shorter period of time.

ok, cool

I usually ride around the housing estate that they are building near my house. But ive taken it into the city - up and downstairs, wheelstanding up the main shopping part of Brisbane!
I usually just do stacks of km's in one day, then not go very far for ages.

Oh that's cool. I'd ride my bike a lot more it's just I don't have that much time. I want to enter a race as well. My friend has done them before, I think as a pro too?

yeah, that would be cool, as well.

I dont have much time to ride these days either, but i took it out today...for the first time in 3 weeks!

That's good, I've been going with my friend recently, last time it was really muddy and I fell in a turn and got parts of me all muddy.

I didn't know this thread existed!

I've got a bike which cost me UK £80, has covered 1800 miles in 1 1/2 years, has done 42.2mph downhill (last week, flat out, 13% hill, one mile, airbourne over ridges in the road).

And its a competent off-roader, too.

My top speed was 62km/h on a hill, which i didnt pedal down! It went strait down then strait up, with an old wooden bridge in the middle!
