Hm, I'm almost positive that mine hits 2nd just before 60 seeing as adjusting 2nd messes with my 0-60.

Different setups, same results. Funny that.

Same G range and timing mine runs in auto.

It'll go quicker if you get it just right in manual... Though then again it sounds like you're hitting 2nd later than me with the same exact 0-60 and E.T. as my automatic runs. Then again, I see you're logged in to the only site where my previous gearset and current suspension is posted, so I'm not surprised. At all.

Edit: 1st should be full left, 2nd should be pretty dang far right, it should still launch, and it should smack the rev limiter the moment you're actually across the 1/4 mile traps. Oh and it shouldn't lag on shifts particularly badly.

lol honestly pure coincidence, i can assure you my tune is not copied from anywhere directly, ive seen other tunes and kinda looked at them as a whole in order to get an idea of what people are trying, but i can assure you mine is purely my own. When we got the track my 12 ran 9.120ish, ive widdled away from it little by little over last 2 nights

Post your best times and be sure to include a pic of the main menu as the pic below:
Ok, so this means that we all can use SRF, becaue the main menu doesn't prove anything in relation to driving aids.

:indiff:

I've noticed slightly less max g's is working for me.. On my aventador 1.66 is doing better runs than 1.67, same goes for my unbroken GTR'12 runs better on 1.81 than 1.83/1.84

Ready for the official thread!!

DLC Beetle

13.742- guessing on tune and second pass. Maybe a 13.5 in it dialed in all the way.

Rotary Junkie
LOL.

If I was running SRF, I'd be doing 8.8s already. I'd lend you a hand but it seems like that's the only way you've ever gotten a decent drag time ever.

Why do you criticize most people in this thread and forum when you don't even need to respond all smart assed at all. If you don't want people to question you, post pics. You still haven't done it so obvieously people are not gonna trust you. Especially when you act like you do to people.

Actually, I did.

You must've missed them. Near the end of Page 6. ;)

You're also too new to have seen what happened back when mazdaman first joined GTP. He's called me out over 9000 times, lost each of them, and now in GT5 he's stolen circuit tunes and attempted to take credit for them, not to mention calling me out but never actually setting a date to deal with it on.

People like this are people that I will always "respond all smart assed" to, particularly when they start accusing not just me, but everyone running quicker than them of cheating.

Edit: @Horde: Skid Recovery Force. It adds traction when tires slip. It's funny. And could be renamed to "Magic Cheatforce" without the meaning being lost any.

Yeah that thing is stupid:indiff:. Just didnt know what those letters standed for (in Portuguese its a bit diferent ) . Thanks:tup:.

So you only see .04 more g's with SFR?

So truly by pictures. There is no way to prove if it was used. I mean if my car happen to better the record with .04 more g force you gonna call cheating for SFR?
No, no, no!
Ahh! I mixed the g-force numbers up!

Sorry! :)
You probably missed it.

Ok, here are the real numbers:

Viper ACR with SRF: ~1.59g
Viper ACR without SRF: ~1.30g

with SRF: 8.846sec / without SRF: 9.019sec (yeah I know, pic soon!)

Difference is about 0.2g and that's a lot! Of course, it will depend on the car, but it's by far the best method.

It's hesitation on initial launch.
once mine launches , i think it sits at 4000 rpm or so ( not sure what exact number) then it takes off. Like its almost on the verge of bogging but if i induce any wheel spin at all, my time suffers

G-Force really changes depending on spring and dampers and if you use ballast. I don't know if skid recovery force can be accurately detected by this metric.

Pretty soon well all know wether or not skid recovery is on or off just looking at how many g's being pulled off the line, We'll just have to learn what car does what and most of the top tunes will be very close in numbers (for the g's)

Listen, disregard this I'm not even gonna respond to the critizing..... Anyways on that note how has the running on the gtr been going for you ? I'm gonna retune mines and on top of that finish upp my rx7.

Oh nice Slump! My ACR no aids got 9.027. but I only did one run. How does your ACR compare to others?

I'm a lazy 1st gear launcher. Here's my ACR, middle run is my best but I'm sure slower than a lot of you. No aids

Mikey, it's more than possible to launch off gear 1 and get a decent time (which you have) I can never seem to make 1 work as it just bounces when I go to 2 and i lose revs :/

Thanks, just posted to show the variance in g's between a really good tune (Dr. Slumps) and a just half decent tune (at best :)) with no aids...only .01 g. If anyone is significantly higher than ours they're probably using skid recovery.

G's arent always super important as my GTR '12 does better runs with 1.81 than if it does 1.83
Same with aventador, 1.66 is doing better than 1.67/1.68
I'm also getting better 0-60 with the lower g's

I just noticed that when i looked at screen pics of my 2 Veyron runs...my 1.79g was quicker than my 1.81g pull off the line...weird.

Update on ACR best time, 8.979. Have the replay saved so I'll try uploading to YouTube or something
