Might well be time left in the suspension as well, though gearing is probably all of it. My entire advantage over you right now comes before 60mph.

I totally agree. Only been honestly working on this car for like an hour now. I want to try a whole new gearing setup, but that will be another day.

I love this friendly competition.

More than half an hour later:

Go ahead! Make my day! :sly:

Lets see those Veyrons guys:cheers:.

EDIT: I did it all in manual. Didnt even try Auto Transmition... I wonder if it would be better... :odd:

Don't have a Veyron.

Hell, I don't even have 20 cars yet because I've not pulled most of my DLC out.

Auto is never actually fastest. You might be slower at first running manual but a "perfect" run with manual will still be better than auto in any car.

Try it ;). The hardest part was those 477.5. I think i reached the car limit... but you guys will let me know soon enough .

I went faster at my first attempt .. 481.9 kmh with a rough setup* (based om 457 km/h of the tunnel) ..

When i improve it i'll post the prof... 👍

* Top speed setup that gave me a 8.60x on 1/4 of mile ... not bad ..

IR

g-force isnt that important, its 0-60 for me.. that is what was serperating my times

Why am I not surprised?

@G-Force remarks: Seems like the GT-R wants to be around 1.83-1.84. Less than that and you're doing it wrong, more and you're doing it wrong.

Funny, as I increase my gforce, I watch my 0-60 increase, not decrease. I wouldn't pay to much attention to g force.
Intresting, it did the total opposite for me, I've learned that. The combination of suspension work and ratios will increase it. It helped me. Cut a 9.2 and I even did better with my 60's I cut 1.9s. More room for improvement, I also learned that you guys are running with sfr on . I did a little overload on the research and seen someone mention it wasn't allowed. But, I'm now using aswell, also as for your veyron time I'm not that far off my best was 8.405. I need to work on my ratios which shouldn't be to hard.

LOL.

If I was running SRF, I'd be doing 8.8s already. I'd lend you a hand but it seems like that's the only way you've ever gotten a decent drag time ever.

Nope dont want a hand with the gtr I'll figure it out....

However, I've ran 8.41s today on the veyron I'm cutting lower 60's.

And how one turn up the g's? Also notice theres much people saying they're running 8's in 1/4. My only car that does 8's is my gtr tc.

Maybe that's because, I dunno, we do?

Some of the claims may be BS and pipe dreams but I can repeat an 8.942 or so as many runs in a row as you want with automatic, and range from high 8.9xx to low 8.9xx in manual.

My gtr tc does 8.67 my spec v does 9.077. My lemans 9.073 and my black edition 9.120 can't get this one to do faster

Black Edition should be easy enough to get an 8.999 out of if you know how to deal with gearing. Shift lag on 1st to 2nd is the number one killer.

Notice the lag on first and correct it, 2nd is the one that got me, it lose rev when shifting, but my launch is great. Oh and I run with sfr off

Peri, sorry can't quote on phone but: GTR SpecV 9.045 (average)
Haven't tested lmq
Viper ACR 9.027 (average)
GTR '12 8.952 (no milage at all and average)
Aventador 8.945 (average, 8.929 PB)

Sorry 4 double post, my phone stinks :/

Try to correct gear lagg, don't have a crazy over the top max speed, I'm not exactly sure how you managed to make '12 slower :(

I've been trying to work on it and can't get it right. I even put the setup of my spec v of 9.077 on it and tweak 1st for the lag and 9.120 it's all I get.

Is your first gear all the way to the left? Thats where i have the best luck and it shifts to second about 61-64ish mph gives me between 1.83 and a max of 1.87g on launch and a 1.806 0-60 time that setup ran a 8.942

If its all the way to the left it lags, got to give it a little juice in gear for it to not lag

Same G range and timing mine runs in auto.

It'll go quicker if you get it just right in manual... Though then again it sounds like you're hitting 2nd later than me with the same exact 0-60 and E.T. as my automatic runs. Then again, I see you're logged in to the only site where my previous gearset and current suspension is posted, so I'm not surprised. At all.

Edit: 1st should be full left, 2nd should be pretty dang far right, it should still launch, and it should smack the rev limiter the moment you're actually across the 1/4 mile traps. Oh and it shouldn't lag on shifts particularly badly.

mine is auto as well, hard to tell where the shift actually occurs because the numbers are moving so fast..lol im pretty sure mine shifts immediatly after hitting 60 though

edit sorry read your post wrong at first...i tried manual a couple times and was only able to achieve a 9.009 or similar I need to grind at it for a while to find the best shift points
