This thread's dying....I guess GTPSP's not that popular these days. But anyways, UP!

I tried playing with the grip levels on the different tires, and the simulation part of the game just comes alive.

Toyota Supra RZ ~ 8'01.5xx [S3/S3][Professional][No Assists]

The grip seemed a bit more unnaturally high in a few areas, so I might try another run with S2 tires 👍

Same car, same settings, same everything.

UPDATE: (7/5/20)

New record!!! 7:52'746

(same stuff as always)

Pretty damn unreal, and yet I could've done better on the first few sections...

UPDATE: 7/7/20

New record: 7:52'281

Pretty much gave it full attack on most of the sections...

After years I played GT PSP again and took the Ferrari F2007 on a trip around the Nordschleife.
I guess this track is much easier when you have a high end racing wheel and pedals and not just a simple PS2 controller for your emulator. :embarrassed:

This lap wasn't perfect and I had two little offtracks, but the lap time was still decent in my opinion. :)

hi guys I have some questions to ask and I hope in some connoisseurs of gt psp and also of later versions .................
for a long time I have been playing gt2 which for me remains the top but now for a few months I have been discovering how magnificent the following episodes are and am I specializing? in gt psp all the new models of machines (I buy them slowly and I'm not even halfway because I want to enjoy them) excite me and learn the new circuits ... especially those of le mans and (still not fully) nurburgring I find it fantastic .. For now I find gt psp a right step to get to know the models after the 90 '... when I move on to the last episodes of PD I will be a little more prepared.

However, today I have made some personal steps forward

wolkswagen Nardo -> 7:36 am / c3 / tcs5 / standard / manual change
Nissan r92 ---> 6: 36 / c3 / tcs5 / standard / manual change
(I'm crazy for group C and I'm buying them slowly, I want to dedicate a period for each one)

Time still weak .... I know. But the fact is that I feel even further away when I read that it is necessary to use the Pro guide right? (I tried today for a moment but I realized how far I was and with my joystick I don't have many chances)

Anyway I'd like to know ...
- in gt6 or gt sport still exists .. or only .. the pro guide and the various Myazono, Gallo, Hizal that I saw in the gt championship therefore drive with the pro necessarily at those levels?
- is ATP also zero in the championship?
- also I hope that (from the videos I didn't understand) they use the manual gearbox (it's the only thing I've always used since playing gt games, and I've always hated the automatic)

I hope someone will answer me despite my english!

thanks for the video - clearly the wheel and pedals make a significant difference.
what tuning settings did you use on the F2007 for that run?

I love that this community is still active!

Just found the charger for my PS Vita and immediately fired up GT. Gonna try my hand and see what my times are like.

My turn with timings.
The only car I've taken to the Nurburgring was the Ford GT (no stripe) '05 with a time of 6'43.584

Set up:
Transmission - Manual
Tires - F (R3) / R (R3)
TCS - OFF / ASM - OFF
Active Steering - Mild
Driving Physics - Professional

Quick tune:
Ride Height : Front: -15mm / Rear: -15mm
Spring Rate : Front: 4 / Rear: 4 | Damper : Front: 4 / Rear: 4
Toe : Front: -0.2 / Rear: +0.1 | Camber Angle : Front: 2.1 / Rear: 1.4
*The quick tune was the roughest tune I could possibly do without making the car slide too often but I will play around with the toe and SR and Damper
