Post you pumpkin! I didn't carve mine yet, but with Halloween in a week I'll start soon.

Are you going to carve a Kim Jong-il one? Cause I would totally like to see that.

Not mine, but gonna try and pull this one off. :D

I love how the point was to post your own pumpkin carvings and only one person has done so...

My R2-D2 and C-3PO pumpkin from last year isn't worth posting.

I still need to carve the two pumpkins we have but the kids need to figure out what they want first.

That's no jack-o-lantern. That's a space station!

Hey, that's my line! Has been for several years! :grumpy:

Anyway, here's my jack-o-lantern. Yep... it's mine, alright... yep, all mine. Honest, I ain't fibbin' at all!

Well, it's not technically Halloween yet so there's no point in carving it out this early. Just tossing out ideas for other pumpkin-carvers. :sly:

@ Type S Tony : You bastard.... That looks badass, but what the heck is it? Looks like Chimera from Resistance.

@GrayFox and Type S Sony

Those bizarre-looking pumpukins for Halloween are sort of made to chasten kids who did evil-doings shameful for themselves(Getting bad grades in school exams or picking on someone for fun..) They are just about to go at them, how scary! :D

Come on, guys. Is posting YOUR Jack-O-Lantern too difficult?

Both mine are done, the first one unintentionally ended up looking a bit like awesome face because the knife slipped...fortunately it didn't end up in my hand! The second one I'm quite pleased with :D Also roasted pumpkin seeds are ridiculously moreish.

Nice job on Jack! Puts my T-rex and Tombstone to shame, that's for sure!

I did the challenge accepted guy. I'll post later today.

EDIT: I'm back!

The Challenge Accepted one is mine.

(Notice how it continues on the ground )

EDIT: I should have done something to let more light through, meh. Whatever, it's my first pumpkin so who cares.

Looks great! 👍 I was planning on doing one but I'm quite afraid of sharp objects :scared:

I got bored so took a drill to my pumpkin...

...with mixed results. :odd:

^ Thankfully, this is true. To a degree.

The advertising business is trying to push us into having Halloween, but it is purely a North American thing, celebrating a dark chapter in the continent's history. It really should stay there.

^ It's a little older than that. I agree that the pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating is a US addition, but All Saint's Day and All Hallow's Eve goes back to the Celtic and Roman times at least. In fact it used to be a much larger festival in the UK (with carved swedes and turnips) until 1605 when Bonfire Night took over.

And thus endeth my lecture... :D

A group of kids came to the door and did a trick or treat.

Had some spare candy that i gave to them.

I could have gone down the more sinister route and told them to (rude word) we are not in america for you to trick or treat.

I was in a good enough mood so this did not happen.

This does not look bad.

Kinda like a dot matrix or half tone version of a carving.
