I would like to be able to see Performance Points of AI opponents in A-Spec races, so I can adjust my car to match them for a fair and challenging race.

I know I can adjust the BHP and weight, but I prefer to follow the PP.

I agree.

Nowadays I just put the highest performance part, and just drop the pp.:sly:

In all seriousness though, I like the pp system, makes it easier for me to gauge how my car can do against the AI.

Take my C60 Hybrid for example. At full tune it's around 820 or something. When doing the 24 hours enduro, I drop it via power limiter to around 700-720 depending on what cars the AI bring to the race.

Somehow it makes it feel more realistic, as I call my 820 pp level my "qualifying trim" and my 700-720 pp level my "race trim".

ARGGHH PD BRING BACK QUALIFYING!

I will be deeply disappointed if A-Spec PP is not included in the next update. :scared:

I WANT FAIR AND CHALLENGING RACES! Now I hope this voice will be heard by PD...

I don't want to see Performance Points offline. If they incorporate it in AI's, they'll almost surely force a limit on what you can drive as well.

I would rather be able to see IQ of the opponents...

👍 That has to be the best thread I've ever seen on this forum.

Just brings a smile to your face, I've actually saved it and read it when I need cheering up :D

Yeah. The biggest problem with this game is crap AI. They just don't seem WANT to win. They're not racing. They're driving there as if it is a quiet Sunday morning...

PP needs to be in the next update. I did a few A-spec races and deliberately picked cars that were at least 5% lower in power/weight than the top couple of AI cars (or the "typical opponents"). The races were a joke. No difficulty at all. I don't want to have a bunch of trial and error experiences to get a decent race with the AI. I should get that out of the box like every other racing game out there.

I'd actually prefer this. Would kill the temptation of breezing through the game with an X2010. XD
