Hello and in the context I used it the definition fits fine. However there are multiple protagonists. The person rivaling would be any one to continue the problem.

This is a forum where any and all opinions are shared as long as the poster abides by the AUP. Just because someone is against the thoughts or opinions of the topic on hand, doesn't mean they will be banned and/or their posts removed. Moderators are here to stop unnecessary banter and enforce the rules of the forum; they're not a means to kick unwanted members from a thread. And this is not a novel, we're not protagonists or antagonists, but someone can antagonize another member into a fight and that's what has been happening the last week with TDS & Precision.
