Wait, Chaser and Mark II coming together? That’s interesting. Things are starting to look better than the Hypercar update already. :D
They seem identical, being four-door Toyotas from roughly the same era - or were there more notable differences? As far as road-going Toyotas go, I'd admittedly be notably more interested in the first-gen MR2 and the MR-S, let alone other models such as some of the other Celica generations. Plus, the first two generations of the Supra would be splendid, too - even if they end up going by their JDM names, like the A60 did in the PS2/PS3 era.

It's a bit of a Levin and Trueno situation, really, apart from the styling they're pretty much identical. Not that I'm complaining about getting both, I trust PD to properly differentiate them with custom part and swap options.

And if they do the customizations right, you know what I'm making:

Sorry, I don't know how to put spoilers tags😥🥲 I will try to learn for the next time and don't spoil others!
Don’t worry, I didn’t know until recently here is how:
Simply put “[ spoiler ]” before and after remove the (“) and the space ex:

“[ spoiler ]”

This is and example

“[ spoiler ]”

I appreciate the saloons. The more the better. I did think the Levin and Sprinter would return since we’ve got some “JTCC” cars in the Civic EF and EG. Plus the E36. I’ve got my JTCC E36s at the ready and the EVO IV works as the Primera.

Just wondering if an Accord and Primera are on the horizon.

Well, given that they went back to the original game for a few cars (like 400R) the homage would not be complete without bringing back the GTR LM. It would help complete the 90's Le Mans grid :)

But hey, only a couple of days left in July, so even if they announce something in the next couple days, does it still count as a July release? Updates usually come on Thursday.

It's cool we get another track toy. GT Sport the KTM got all the love. I really haven't seen anything close to the fanfare about the Bac Mono and Radical throughout the past four years. Quite ironic then, the KTM is currently featured in the Daily Races.

Hopefully, the Caterham has a better shelf life than what PD show to the Bac and Radical.

If it's the Chaser then its perfect just as when I'm doing more drift styled builds and if it has some spoof aftermarket parts (e.g BN Sports) like the Evos VIII and IX for instance, then I'm locking in.

At the very least if it has the X540 parts then these will be my targets when it comes to the style I'm after.

Talking the Info from Mario Soler with a pinch of salt, I see quite strange that PD would add two variants of the same street car at once. Strange but not impossible. I wouldn't mind if we get a Chaser and its racecar/drift derivative at the same time à la Ferrari 296.
I'm not surprised about the Ioniq 6 due to the Hyundai N and PD agreement (preferred a i30 N tho) and the Caterham, well, it was on the datamine list, glad that it will come.

If they get the licensing for a particular car model than they might be inclined to introduce two if they make a good duo, like the aforementioned 296

Even though I still prefer to have the surprise, if this leak turns out to be true, I’ll be delighted with this update.

The Ionic 6 N comes across as the weak spot on this list, mainly because PD doesn't do much with these cars. With the AFEELA 1, the Ionic 5 N, the Polestar 5, the Taycan and both Tesla; we have enough cars to create a little league of races. The question of their use in Custom Race mode remains a mystery.

Both Toyota would make for a great addition to Gran Turismo. Every vehicle that fulfill the same vibe makes GT7 more like GT. I think Toyota and Renault are now the most valuable brands in GT7 when it comes to their ingame variety.

I’m glad that Caterham is finally back, and the timing is perfect as I’ve spent quite a bit of time driving small open-top cars lately (BAC Mono, KTM X-Bow, Radical SR3). I have no problem using the cockpit camera with these cars. Here again I think we have now enough open-top car so they can give them dedicated races.

I don’t think there will be a July update? There was no teaser last weekend and afaik no maintenance notification for this week… But they could always surprise us :) Wouldn’t mind that Caterham though :)

Moza was announced as a partner, so I presume there will be Playstation compatible Moza hardware at some point…

Just to go a bit further on this. You would end a spoiler section by doing:

[/ SPOILER ]

but without the spaces. If lowercase works then that would be okay too, I just use capitals which I know works.

You can always just type it normally:
Whatever you want to put in the spoiler tags.
Ah, okay, thanks! I assumed the regular spoiler tag formatting would auto spoiler the text.

EDIT: Wait I didn't realise the reply would spoiler it lol. Is this some mod trickery?!

EDIT 2: I am slow on this lol. Are you saying that you can spoiler block the text by just writing the spoiler tags before and after the text?

Anything you stick between spoiler tags is put into a spoiler block, yes. You can also use an ispoiler tag which leaves it in view but blurs it out unless you click on it - although I don't find that as useful for larger images (including YouTube thumbnails).
Whatever you want to hide goes here
[ispoiler]Whatever you want to hide goes here[/ispoiler]

Although I think this particular bag is now bereft of felines.
