Still play all the time.

Since there's no option for "playing it more than I did then" I went with the top option. I love the game. A lot of people hate on it, but I have a blast with it. Then again, this is my first GT game, so maybe there were features in previous games that GT5 doesn't have. Can't be disappointed with what you don't know about.

Still play it nearly everyday.

I have not played in over a month, once in a while I switch it on, waiting for Horizon and the eventual GT6.

I start it up everyday to keep the bonus up and will probably have about 5-6 hours racing each week on average.

I managed to get a copy of GT5 on the day of release... do I count?

Anyway, I do play it whenever I don't have any schoolwork, or any sort of work for that matter. I may have found the one and only way to keep GT5 interesting to me; races at the Nurburgring in Arcade Mode. Honestly, it's one of the few things that actually keep me wanting to play the game. The rest of it has gotten very dull and boring.

I've created a secondary account, where I race "more realistically". Basically, all my cars have adjusted tires, as per that adjusted tire thread somewhere in the depths of GTPlanet. I also ditched most of the HUD, with the exception of the timer. That and a Logitech G27 keeps me happy for about one and a half hours.

Still play everyday and I don't see that changing anytime soon, at the very least I need that platinum trophy before I can say I'm anywhere near done with gt5.

I play a little less than 18 months ago as credits are easy now and I have no missing cars from my garage so nothing I need to buy in game except the odd duplicate to fully lighten and tune.

What keeps me coming back day after day and week after week is being part of an online community that organises a variety of races / series amongst clean racer so there is always something worthwhile to do in game be it testing for the next round of an event or testing for a future series that I or others will host.

Thats the key for me get involved with a group on here or with someone like GBRC or GTArena.com

I bought my PS3 on launch for GT5, it was a long wait lol
nowadays I play online clean shuffle everyday

I have a backup PS3 to maintain my daily fix... lol

(my fat launch ps3 is on its 3rd YLOD repair)

I preordered...have yet to buy a PS3 though  got till end of year to use chromeline codes :dopey:

I didn't pre order the game - I got a PS3 to play the game. (Promptly set the date wrong - the first three days of GT5 show me buying cars in October 2010...)

I've played it pretty solid all that time, maybe the odd break for other games But Still play GT5 now.

It has alot of aspects I hardly touch
Drifting seasonals do nothing for me...
The feel of the game is about all I need. I try other games but they often feel forced and wooden

I run no Driver aids so I am never driving to cruise and collect. I am constantly the instrument of my own destruction when I race, and have to pedal pretty hard which is fun.

I guess though anyone who did pre order - and has fallen out of love with GT5 won't be on this forum though.

I've pre ordered the Collectors Edition from Amazon and I played a lot 👍 but then got bored and bought an Xbox with Forza 3. After that played GT5 maybe ones a week, but since I bought Forza 4 didn't touch GT anymore :guilty:

Yes but the frequency of my playing has become rarer. I blame lack of DLC and loss of GT5 interest among my best online buddies.

i only play once a week because i joined to a club, the offline is really boring.

Offline died very quickly for me, offline is a case of earning money and buying the cars that i want, nothing more.

Online on the other hand in my mind should be treated as a sand box in which you create your own events, or sub games like dirty team races or cat and mouse etc. etc.

How good that sandbox is comes down to A: your imagination and B: the guys you play with, for a start half of GT5 for me isnt the racing game itself but the competition of beating the skilled racers i race with.
Try No aids and abs 0 , the game comes alive.

In the league i run in we match groups of cars to be a lot closer than PP can manage for league races so that cars that wont normally work together now do, testing is a pain in the butt, but its all worth while once you get a cracking race out of it, these are the things that keep GT5 alive for me.

Having said that it does lack quality DLC, its odd they dont seem to want to milk it more.

P.s. I dont own a "PS3" anymore only a "GT5 player"

I didnt pre order, but I bought it the day of release. I dont play a-spec anymore really. The seasonals and the leagues on GTP are what keep me interested in the game. I used to play all day everyday when I was unemployed. Thats the only time I felt the game fell a bit short as far as content went.

I've gotten into tuning lately and thats opened up a whole new aspect of the game for me. I get more pleasure from the game tuning than actual racing now. Especially if I do well in a race and its with one of my tunes. :)

Pre-ordered and still playing, not as much, but still playing.

Yes,still playing pretty much every day.
The game has evolved greatly when you consider what it started out as.
Will only stop when GT6 comes out, a while yet then!

Those of you enjoying it with a G27, I'm assuming you're using the paddle shifters because the stick/clutch is worthless.

Some cars are better than others when it comes to that... My S2K R1 and my Spoon civic type R work fine. I never miss a gear... but when I'm in something else like a zonda or my cobra it's a different story. those 2 cars HATE 4th gear for some reason and I ALWAYS seem to miss 4th.

I still play GT5 4-5 days a week. Got the game 2 months after introduction along with a ps3. Initially I whizzed through most all of the events, got bored and put it away. One day I tried online and got hooked. Have spent most all my GT5 time with different race groups since then.

2-3 months ago, my arm got both tennis and golfers elbow. I've had to give up online Enduros which I miss badly. So have been playing sparingly offline. Without being able to push hard anymore, offline works well for me now. They changed the AI's idiot ways ways a lot since I'd played offline long ago. I just run like it's a real life track day and try not to even touch the AI cars.

Hadn't done hardly any seasonals for about a year except to grind a race or two. Now I'm just trying out lots of cars I've never spent any time in and running them fully stock. Using GT5 as a Driving Simulator instead of a race simulator now, heh. Gotten some great track creator tracks that I can cruise on.

It's kind of ironic that after needing to slow down with my injuries, it's forced me to slow my pace enough to enjoy the scenery. Had never used cockpit view with all hud off before. Was strictly bumper view for online. Now that's all I'll use so it almost feels like a new game.

Pre-ordered the collectors edition, still play it 50/50 with Black Ops. 👍
Yup, same here.

nope moved on to Iracing because of the terrible online problems with ps3

I recently started iRacing, what I like is of course the competition and clean driving, what kinda sucks is of course the set time races, so you can't just keep going and going. But I guess that gets you to put a bit more effort into each race, more realistic.

Every once in a while I turn on GT5 to either hot lap or mess around with photo mode. Other than that I've lost interest in playing GT5 and now I'm playing other games, with the most recent being Persona 4 Arena.

Maybe once a week now to hotlap a slidey car on crappy tyres.
I still enjoy it, but it doesn't have the depth in the physics to keep me hooked. When I watch a replay I don't feel as though I'm watching a real car (not talking about the graphics).
Also online systems and a netcode are generally quite offputting for me.

Not a day goes by (unless I am out of town) that I do not play, trade, or race to some extent. GT has been in my blood since the first installment, and will always be until I am long gone. Just make sure they bury me with the wheel in hand!

I still play GT5 every single day. Since it launched I have perhaps missed 10 days due to work.

Im not including holidays as I bring my PSP for GT. I wish Vita had a GT...
