Problem with my profile picture

It automatically resized to this, and i thought "surely it gets bigger than that" so i looked at someone elses profile and it was about 10 times bigger. What gives? I might aswell make it my avatar.

Not sure why it done that, but what size is the original image? Make sure you use photoshop or another image editor to meet these requirements:

"The maximum size of your custom image is 400 by 400 pixels or 150.0 KB (whichever is smaller)."

It might be that it still automatically resizes from when the limit was 200x200 if the image is bigger than 400x400.

Yep, resize to 400px max. I did resize my profile photo within the limit and it turned out nicely. 👍 I think if it will reset to the old size limit (which is probably 200px) if your photo was bigger than 400px. Do you still have the originals? Then just resize it to about 400px and you should be fine.

I got it from google, i think it was 1024x768 or 800x600, can't remember. But that is certainly not 400 pixels or 150kb, it's like 100 pixels and 5kb.

It's fixed now, i got a different one and that resized like normal, but that was wierd though.
