I hope this is the right place for my post...

Yesterday, I tried pairing my wireless iMac bluetooth keyboard to my ps3. Saw a how-to on youtube about it and it seemed very easy :). But off course, when I tried it, it didn't work. :yuck:

When I let the ps3 scan for new bluetooth devices it just keeps on scanning without ever finding anything. At first, I thought it might be because my Mac was still on and in the same room. So I turned it off and tried again, but same result. Still scanning for more than 10 minutes after which I stopped trying.

To check if the problem lies with the keyboard or my ps3, I tried to pair my mobile phone. PS3 also couldn't find it, so I'm guessing the problem lies with my ps3. But as I'm no tech-wizzard, I'm at a loss here . Anyone else had this problem and know the solution?

Thanks for the interest, bass (fellow bass-player by any chance :) ? )

Anyway, weirdest thing happened: tried it again just now and it worked like a charm. Strange that I had problems yesterday, don't understand why... I didn't do anything different than today...

Anywho, it works, so problem solved :D

I have a mini bluetooth keyboard, and I can't register it after entering the passkey several times.

Do I have to turn in on to charge it?

I believe that you should try plugging it in the ps3 and then try syncing the device with the PS3.
