I like racing liveries on race cars, the more the merrier. Real life or fantasy liveries, I don't mind.Fair enough! I tend to prefer driving racing cars with real life designs that i have seen race. But yes good point.

The fact that there is a plain white livery makes me think that they haven't finished adding all of them yet.
The GT- R GT3's sound is getting better, still not quite there yet, still much better than previous builds... Need a deeper acceleration tone. Downshifts sound good though...
Check this out, much deeper acceleration tone:
Yes, day/night cycle and temps based on geo coordinates an calendar date. We had this in first game.Does anyone know if the amount of daylight and nighttime will be dependent on your location and not just season?
Really? So in PC1, Watkins Glen at 6pm will be dark in December but near sunset in July?
On XBONE, I did a race yesterday. Ruapuna, New Zealand at "Current 8am(it was about 8:20am , where I am, in New South Wales, Australia)". It's winter here. So, there were long shadows.Really? So in PC1, Watkins Glen at 6pm will be dark in December but near sunset in July?
I would hazard a guess and say that it's spot on simply because GoPro audio is so massively crap that you'll never really know what you're getting unless you use something better. The microphones they would have used are likely far better quality so I'd be willing to say it's closer than those 2 videos make it sound.
Well that worked perfectly.Thanks. Yea just did a search and found this. Simple longer hex screws and a 40mm O ring. I assume I can get the ring at the plumbing section?

I use a PS4/T300, play at least 1-3 nights a week for the past year and a half, and have never lost FFB. One time I had a glitch where my wheel was shaking at the starting grid, and after start my FFB was off. I had about 15 degrees of deadzone, and then when the tires did respond, they turned way too quick/aggressively. Another racer on a T300 had it happen at the exact same time. We both did a pitstop and everything was normal again. Other than that, my experience has been quite reliable.Sorry if this has been covered. I looked around but I couldn't find an answer and I'm trying to decided if I should purchase it.
Have they fixed their issues with dropping force feedback (PS4/Tr300)? Pcars hardly ever worked for my wheel, I know my friends had the same issue and we all stopped playing it after a while. This is the only game that's has ever has that issue with the Tr300. I'm hoping they fixed this issue.
I also had an issue of the wheel going sideways just before the start of a race then staying that way until I closed out the game and restarted it.
Have you tried pCars 1 recently? I have an early T300RS and I had a lot of issues initially. Since I've returned to pCars1 in the last few months the experience is very much improved. Almost night and day. There is still one or two very small wheel bugs but they aren't nearly as common as they used to be. I'm expecting an improved experience over the current situation as well going into pCars 2.Well it's great that yours works, maybe mine is an older model T300, I'm not sure? But I know that Asetto Corsa, GT6 & GT sport all work fine with my wheel, but for some reason Pcars has constant issues. It's not hyperbole when I say I have to restart the game every 10 minutes because of wheel issues.
I want to love the current game and I want buy the sequel but I'm just trying to make sure I won't have the same issues.
@IanBell @The_American When is the damage model going to be updated like how barriers and tire barriers get hit by the car and the car having those somewhat of a more soft body so the damage looks more realistic. If this can't be made possible due to licensing restrictions then never mind.
Wow. Just wow. Wouldn't be easier to have the physics and then try to get it optimized for 60 fps or would that still reduce performance or maybe the features we love.
Wouldn't have thought so...![]()
Yeah and trust me im not complaining but being a console player (a playstation one at that) i never got to see the things you guys get to see on pc with all the sims so when i saw PCARS i thought to myself "this is my chance to see if i like it or not." It's not like i am going to pretend like i haven't seen iracing or RFactor 1/2 but from a financial standpoint PCARS was the best choice. Getting away from the dreaded 6 car limit which finally moved on to 16 but back to 12 in singleplayer which confuses me with GT6. The terribly EASY AI and the removal of actual endurance races, PCARS was the savior. 32 cars is what i had learned to deal with because i have to the formula of every series im going to create. 32 is still a lot and the damage is still really good so i guess when September 22 gets here i will officially become a college drop out.I would be pleasantly surprised if they made updates that slowly increase grid sizes, offline and on. Beam NG.Drive is the weirdest crash simulator ever but it's not perfect. It looks like (from what I've seen) that body parts don't have proper weight to them. It is cool to see all the crumple though.
Didn't Driveclub have to go cap the game at 30fps just to get soft barriers? That would make it a performance limitation. (To anyone) Does any 60fps sim have soft barriers?
