You are actually wrong. The thing about V-Rally 2 is that it can generate stages in the editor for you using 3 sliders (length, difficulty and uphill/downhill) and the environment is created randomly. DiRT4 does exactly that: auto-generated stages using sliders plus random environments. No innovation but they sold it like they had invented sliced bread, not even a mention to V-Rally 2.

I think I read that it's a global option you can choose, but I've not tested it myself
