Continuing from my last post

That Bill Thomas Cheetah would be a nice addition to the game - much nicer to drive in a game than real life - the engine was so far back that it connected to the differential without the need for a driveshaft and the exhaust headers curled over and round the drivers foot tunnel - they were so hot to race in that the best option was to remove the roof as in the Cro-Sal Special.

Found this.

Note that the running boards and partial front fenders are still attached to this race car.
