Sure hope not, as I expect being able to race the 458 GT3 at some point in the future... (also wouldn't mind having a crack at driving the Ferrari TheFerrari :D)

I've never heard anything about that but it's possible of course. Do you have a source for that info?

I'm sorry, I have no source or anything. I'm just pretty sure I heard someone mention it a while back, and I guess it kind of makes sense as AC don't have lots of cash. Plus Italian :lol:

I wouldn't be surprised as they did make Ferrari virtual academy.
 
If Project CARS becomes a blockbuster hit among racing games, then we could expect more cars, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, GM (Chevrolet), Nissan, Toyota...

We'll just have to wait and see.

...anyway...can somebody please say how many liveries the Mclaren has? Does it have more than the factory Mclaren ones?
 
If you are talking about the 12C GT3 - i can count 4 types of liveries, 6 car numbers. McLaren Factory (Orange) is one type of them with 2 Numbers.

True, but it's a shame we lost so many liveries for that car because of licensing issues.
The thing is, I see lots of different liveries on it in other games, I wonder why McLaren put SMS to the sword over them. We lost K-Pax, Gulf and several others. Not a HUGE deal to me, just one of those things that grates a wee bit, especially when we hear of livery counts of 20 or so on other vehicles.

Yeah they really ticked me off on that one. But I guess I'll just have to beat them in an Aston won't I? :P

Does all the formula A cars have the same performance? Does it matter which team I pick?
Also does cars in this game have an odometer?
 
Yes, only in career mode with damage and failures on, and no, sorry.
 
Some cars (Caterham Classic for example) do have a working odometer. I think it gets reset at the start of every race but I'm not sure.
 
Odometers aren't really necessary...this isn't Gran Turismo, where you buy and own cars! No! Your role is being a driver for various racing teams, so an odometer is pretty much useless! (If you want to determine how much you've driven in a race, just count how many laps you raced, multiply it by the length of the course you raced on)
 
Or they'll probably have stats for you, dunno just guessing haha

Or simply look in your driver network profile, where those stats are saved. ;)

Such great memories, and the reason I drive a Volvo today. The company is trying to appeal to a younger market so perhaps putting your brand into a racing game might be a good idea.

but after every race the car and engine's get stripped down and rebuilt
So odometers reset back to 0
 
poor car list for me a few japanese cars , no nissan (GTR) , no Lamborghini and there no even FocusST (my real car)

Hi. It's very likely nissan will be coming to the game :)
 
I just like my stats...Want to see how much mileage I do in a particular series.
Odometers worked will in Grid Autosport and that game has a lot of similarities to PCars.
