It doesn't help that I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to setup. I just adjust some things towards speed and hope for the best. I was maxing out at around 208mph I think which isn't that good. Interesting driving that car on there though, it's pretty easy except for three corners but you still need to get your lines right.

I know, I just wanted to see how it went. I did drive the 49 and 98T first, naturally. ;)

It does just show to people who wish the real F1 circus went back to some older tracks that some of them just wouldn't work without adding the more technical, sharper corners we see today. Obviously this one no longer exists as a track but if it did F1 cars would be full throttle for 90% of the lap, it's just too simple and frankly not much fun.

Trying to wrangle the 49 is much, much more exciting.

I don't really have a clue on setup direction either. When I first did TT I was doing the opposite of others regarding setup so when I used someone elses I got within few tenths of the leader. Probably worth about a second or so depending on length of track. I generally stick to using stock setups now so easier to compare. Only posted on leaderboard probably 3 or 4 times though :lol:.

Will probably play it closer to release. Force feedback strength has become quite weak for me and haven't bothered changing settings yet to get it optimum. May try in a few months again and see how the new tyre model is.
 
On my first run in the 49 I'm pretty sure I'd have been violently killed at least three times if it were real. It didn't go well. :lol:

I love Spa, but seeing the older version of it, I love it even more.

This version definitely shows the older roads that made up Spa during the 60's and 70's in racing, especially in F1 that aren't even used in racing today. Nice. 👍
 
Bah, only have the 6th time on the overal leaderboard on old Spa while using the 98T. Will try and tweak the car a bit more over the weekend to gain another 5 seconds, if possible 6.

Oh well, at least I am the fastest guy that doesn't rely on auto clutch, and actually does use his TH8 with the clutch. So that's some comfort at least.
Although I am sure Ben Collins, Nicolas Hamilton or René Rast will be able to beat me, if not the many other great sim drivers out there. So I will enjoy it while it lasts. lol

If it's delayed till 2014, then I think it will also come out on the PS4 and the next Xbox. They can make more money when they will release it on the current and next gen consoles and the pc.
 
The last interview from a couple of weeks ago, SMS said that pCARS will be released this year.
 
I've noticed the current build is partially broken if you crossfire/sli, massive flickering. Of course I didn't bother the check the WMD forum until after I uninstalled and re-installed it. :dopey:

Oh well it did give me a chance to move it to another drive. Thanks for the advice from a while back Silva, it came in handy.

I haven't played this in quite some time obviously, and I'm wondering what on earth happened to the makeshift photomode?

There's only three camera views now? It's quite aggravating to come back to a game only to find it doesn't work the same way it did last time you played it.

Can you explain more T12?

If you mean car cameras then you need to hold the button down to get more views now. Otherwise press ctrl f for free cam or ctrl k to adjust cams.

Each group has about 5 to 9 views in.
