Why can't driving games be pretty and have at least somewhat realistic driving dynamics? Ugh. When they are realistic enough to get a passing grade only 1/4 of the cars look good and when they are so realistic they become difficult everything looks bad and it's exceedingly expensive!

I'm pretty sure the game will have proper physics in the future, it's not like it plays bad now at all anyway.

Like FLX1981 said on the last page, The devs are working on a new tire model, but it isnt ready yet to be put into a pre alpha build yet. It wouldn't make sense to spend all their time right now refining all the cars handling and physics because once the new model is complete - Its all going to change.

I just hope after all their hard work their new physics surpasses an rFactor ect ect level of physics so we can put all this " its not a proper sim " talk behind us.

^ Yea, but I guess this will do:

:)

I'm working on this one and it'll have a 8k*8k version. Cheers!

Have you played pCARS? The physics might still need some work but they're certainly already "somewhat realistic driving dynamics".

Forgive me if I sound like a dunce here, but how do you edit liveries? Sorry if this has been answered before.

You made that? Nice work! Too bad the screens are kinda blinding the cam, I love the head movement etc. though. :) How did you mount the cam?

Yeah, but how was it mounted on his head? It's just extremely well placed, very centric and almost on eye level.

^ Good stuff, the car seems well planted. Front and rear end have decent behaviour, nice to see that.

The only thing, I'm definitely not sure about tyre squealing, a prototype shouldn't squeal like that.

hi.
Yesterday I was testing the apollo Bathurst and could not help making a small edit.
Hope you like.

Indeed. Luckily fine tuning of the tire squeal will only happen after the physics and the tire model are more or less finished.

PS: They started to work on the Capri Group 5 today! :D

Great stuff digiprost!

What the hell, let me share one I made recently from clips I had laying around.

The project has reached build 300! And to celebrate, they released the new team member build (b301) early - its up aready! Updates: Ghost racing, new exports of Nords, Laguna Seca, Monaco, both BMWs and the Huayra, new experimental daylight lighting condition (clear 5), material updates and crowds at the ovals.

Enjoy!

Hi.
This weekend I will improve my cockpit, so hopefully more realistic video out.
I leave a video of the new BMW M1 Procar.
Hope you like.

a greeting
