GT5 struggles a lot to keep it at 60fps, especially in rain.5-15 Really? Never happen'd to me. What PS3 version do you have? I have a slim 250gb. Rare frame drops, most of times feels like solid 60fps.

Yes. 60 to 30 is too noticeable for me. I guess the best way to keep 60 rock solid fps is having a pc able to running it at 90 fps.
The video shows that it never drops to under 35, except on SSR7 with rain and all cars next to eachother in the hairpin, but even then it stays at over 25. Most of the time it easily stays over 40.You say 30-60 is noticeable but GT5 as per the video goes down to 20 and 30fps back up to 50 and 60 and you claim it feels like a solid 60fps most times. To me it feels a choppy 20-30 fps half the time.
Got news for ya boys!
FM4 has NO frame drops or screen tears, solid 60 fps.
Very clever decision on T10's part not to include night/day or wheather effects in exchange for 30 fps.
Can't wait for next gen!
Yep. And the video is dated 06/dic/2010. Three years ago. With all the updates the situations may be different. I costantly drive Nordschleife Day Night cycle 16 cars on tracks and I never experienced frame rate issues. Maybe PS3's performances slightly differs for each model, even with the same HDD. Who knows. If so, I was lucky enough. The video shows that it never drops to under 35, except on SSR7 with rain and all cars next to eachother in the hairpin, but even then it stays at over 25. London was constantly over 40, didn't see the 5-15fps you claimed.
I also got some news. Saw a Maserati MC12 GT1 video this morning and Turn10 totally missed proper ride height. Looks like it has rally suspensions. One of the lowest GT1 race cars of all times, huge embarassing epic fail. I don't bother buying xbox + fanatech for that. Let's see next gen.Got news for ya boys!

Well, saidur said he enjoyed GT6 more than every other racing game he played so far...How was the FFB in the gt6 demo?
We'll see if it's really true. I don't believe it before I haven't seen it.Got news for ya boys!

It felt great to drive, I didn't get to do with many laps with steering wheel but ones I did, I felt at one with car quite well and quickly. pCARS I haven't tried with T500RS but going by G27 I feel more disconnected from what car is doing compared to GT5 using same wheel. How was the FFB in the gt6 demo?

Just look up Digital Foundry - Forza Motorsport 4 framerate test. It dips into 58 - 59FPS when there is more chaos on the racing field but other than that, the game shows great performance. I feel that T10 sacrificed too much. We'll see if it's really true. I don't believe it before I haven't seen it.
Nope, GT5 as only GT game I used with my G27 so farGT6 you mean?
Sounds promising.

That was before an update which fixed most of these fps issues.
EDIT:
Nope, GT5 as only GT game I used with my G27 so far. I think there will obviously be personal preference though regarding GT6, I like direction they are heading and visually it is quite easy to see it is quite an impressive step regarding car behaviour from GT5. It will be interesting to see how big step pCARS takes soon regarding physics.
I'm seeing the wonderful shots all the time and they make me want to fire up the game.
About 5 minutes into playing I realize that the physics are still way off and I simply have to quit.

That bad?
I think I've read that it's running on the Shift 2 engine but I thought the physics were meant to be pretty good?
They are excellent, apart from the odd landmine (which is being fixed), it's just that some people don't understand that we are still early in the game's development, and that with some of the cars, they aren't as perfect as some people would like them.
