Personally, I don't want either. I just think it would be nice to have eyecandy for more than one demographic, if it was to be included at all.

I personally don't see what's wrong with it. To me having grid girls is kinda like decoration to the grid. It's like icing on the cake that are the awesome machinery on that grid. Which is what the race is all about and what every petrolhead has come to the track for to see.

Taking the icing away leaves you just with the cake. Like going to a concert that doesn't have the stage lightshow going on. You just feel like something is missing and the picture is not complete.

In the end it's just not a race that the visitors come for, but it's the whole show... the whole package of entertainment together.
It's the same for games conventions. You have to make an enjoyable atmosphere it rarely comes flying in with the customers. For that you need to entertain the visitors and raise their moods. That is what the girls are doing there, they cheer people up.
With sports they aren't called "cheerleaders" for nothing. ;)

I wish there was a way to 3d print the steel case when preordering digitally on steam :(
Any 3d printers out that use metal to print?! Thought it was all plastic.

You can buy my steel case if you want. I don't mind.

I can't even get a regular disc preordering for pc cause I don't even have a dvd drive even in my desktop computer :p

There are. They are pretty expensive though. I was mostly joking :p

I think koenigsegg actually 3d prints certain metal parts for their cars. It wouldn't surprise me if some other manufacturers do as well.

Said video methinks?? To me it's not a big thing but sure, at least some sparks could fly off the car or something! :p

Yup that's the one. I suspect most cars wouldn't survive the jump at the 20 second mark. I hope it's a case of the damage being turned off; I couldn't tell from the video or when it was originally posted if it was disabled.

Yes i imagine the damage was turned off foe that!! Lets see if we can have a crash in the game like this one!!! Lol!!

Guys chill, there has already been pictures of cases like that from different GAME stores. It means nothing.

Sure, but seeing that it was tweeted from Nicholas Hamilton, who has had imput in the game, and i imagine has contact with SMS, it's must mean something positive i would have thought!!! :D

Would it be realistic to base jump damage off of suspension settings? I mean, rally cars seem to handle jumps better, but perhaps that are for more reasons than just suspensions. I ain't an expert :p

I'm not using Twitter much but Nicolas Hamilton deactivated the comments to his last Twitter post. Just noticed that.

I see the RIDE game, also a Bandai Namco title has been delayed in NA until late june, hmmmmm
They do it on purpose those evil Bandai people!

Maybe they use Ride's production slot to print pCARS, pushing Ride back to the next available slot.

I'm a glass half full kinda guy. ;)

Edit: Ride is already out in Europe? That is weird then - the evils of NTSC I presume. :mischievous:

Is she one of these beauties?? Lol!! :p

Wow, I like ancient relics from a bygone era!!! :mischievous:
Why don't we just accept the fact that different people like different things, it's called diversity and there is nothing wrong with Grid Girls, Ring Girls, Models or any others doing what they enjoy and making others happy.
It's funny how the Girls aren't complaining!

Grid girls are a must for the authentic experience.

Camera man didnt even flinch, I'd of been running backwards like a whippet :nervous:

I have a theory: maybe they're including grid girls so the bloodflow of the players will rush down from there head to elsewhere. Therefore making the AI seem more difficult because the brain can't operate at a normal capacity
