Its seems to be shaping up to be a 7th EU launch with a 12th NA launch.

Pure speculation though.

I hope you're right mate..... Looking at the build notes 979 and very little fixed today the 9th... A good sign that the game is almost there!!! :)

It probably says June 1st on their systems so it gives them all of May to plant a date when the official date comes out.

A question that came to my mind as I was watching Dookie's race with the 300 SEL against the Escort: in races with different cars, but in the same class, is it possible that two AI cars, or you and an AI car, have the same car number? Or are the liveries structured in a way that this can't happen? I hope it can't. Minor thing, I know, just wondering.

Sorry, got another question: In quick race mode and time trial, will I be able to choose my preferred livery? I thought so, but I just watched a video from back in March where the guy chooses a car and gets a randomly chosen livery, it seems.

And I don't know if I asked already, but are the AI drivers' names attached to a car? Like, is there always the same "person" in, say, the red Formula A car with the number 1? Or is that randomly generated?

ive looked on uk site.nothing listed. are you on the usa site ?
Yes, I ordered the Thrustmaster T300 RS Wheel/Base and the Thrustmaster Wheel to Logitech Pedal Adapter - By Ricmotech on the USA Site. I used my G27 pedals at first then after reading that the stock pedals had more resolution, I started using those. Then I read that the conical brake mod is really good so I ordered the T3PA-PRO. I also pre-ordered the TM Leather 28 GT Wheel, it was supposed to ship on 4/7/2015, but they now have a message on my order stating they need more time, no new date, the T3PA-PRO has a date of 4/13/2015 for shipping but I don't know after the other item date was missed.

You can select your livery.

AFAIK, there's no such attachment, no.

OK, thanks.
Hm, that kills the immersion a little bit, but no big thing. Although that means that, as there aren't any options for a custom season at the moment, I can't do a few single races, take a screenshot of the results and count the points together after each one, because there would be new drivers in each race. :(

I have already pre-ordered from Gamestop. But I am thinking of getting the digital download instead. But was wondering if anyone know what time of day (or morning) will I be able to play a digital download? Im in Central time and in the past if you bought a digital download I wasn't able to play it till 3:00am (12:00am pacific). But the last installment of Call Of Duty a person was able to play a digital download when it hit midnight in his or her own time zone. Do you think this might happen with this title??.....Also Im on the XBOne if this matters....Iv googled around but cant find anything

The included liveries are numbered in a way that there shouldnt be duplicate numbers in a car class. Meaning that in this example, there is no #3 Escort if there is a #3 Benz. The only class where this doesnt work is GT3 because there are just too many cars with 20 liveries per car, so we would end up with numbers well above 200 when all cars are included. Unfortunately, there is no system in place that prevents duplicate numbers in GT3, as far as I know. And of course, this also doesnt take custom liveries in account, so if you paint a #3 Benz yourself, there might be another one with the same number on track. Not ideal, I know, but not the end of the world. You wont have much time to look at the number of each car while on track anyway. :p

Same applies for Multiplayer Im guessing then, right?

Of course.

The way it works: There is a quick list of cars to select from if you just want to choose your car and dont care about your livery or setup. If you want to choose your livery or change your setup before the race, you need to go to my garage to modify those things.

Really only 27 days til release?? Or will we have that sinking feeling again in some moment?? Tweeted to PC and Andy Tudor and nothing.... Love the fact we have all these medias for communication, but when you ask a serious question about release dates you are ignored....The irony.......... :banghead:

If all these rumours of a 7th may release is true (EU) we will here something concrete very soon, It needs to be going gold within the next 10 to 12 days or it aint happening.

We should have a date by the end of next week, assuming a May release. I think they will announce the date when the game goes gold, but I don't think there will be another delay seeing that they are marketing the game already....can't wait for a date so we can get that countdown topic up lol

Yeah, about the numbers, Felix is right. I only identify cars by their color and make on track while racing. The only time I see any numbers on cars is when I'm looking at screenshots. So even if all cars had the same number I think it would be ok.

Wow, I saw that two pages had piled up since i checked this morning and thought: "Awesome maybe some new info has come out" just to find tractor pulls and pig racing ha ha ha.

That was disappointing.
Wasn't it just?

This is a resource for people to find out about Project CARS - a resource many people have bookmarked or watched so that they get alerted when someone replies and can keep up to date with a game they're very excited about.

Let's hope everyone learns from this and doesn't disappoint again.

Edit: Comments on moderation decisions are just as off-topic as the nonsense that was removed. Please see the FAQ regarding how to appropriately disagree.

Warning "Some hateful post which was supposed to be funny but ended up being a hate full post" incoming:

Project CARS is the antithesis to comparatively insane driving games such as Mario Kart

So Cars will be able to this? Speedy boost? Weird angled roads? Super Drift and slides? along with weapons and such laying on the road?

Not sure if i should buy Project Cars Mario or not, if i want to buy something like a mario kart, i will buy a F:censored: MARIO KART!!

"Gran Turismo is a ultra realistic racing simulator, Realism isn't fun" Racing Realism isn't fun my a:censored:, I had more fun playing games like Gran Turismo 4 and Need For Speed Shift than playing The Crew in my friends house (a game with huge map) and that's coming from a person who's car enthusiasm are much less compared to other guys on this forum. Sure realism on other type's of games are boring but a racing simulator is boring?? really??

Also GT isn't realistic at all, sounds, physics...etc are not perfect
and plus it has cars like Red bull X1, chaparral 2X VGT, the upcoming bertone VGT aren't that realistic.

I don't hate Mario Kart (in fact i enjoy playing it along with the Crash Team Racing, Crash Nitro Kart...etc), it just makes me ashamed of myself for loving racing simulators and i just want to defend it for some reason. I just face palmed really HARD when i saw a guy who works on a fully focused racing simulator that want's somethings like this.

EDIT: Sorry for my stupidly but i just realised it's says "antithesis".

No need to shout...

Then why you didn't say that on these posts....

After reading this I was like "Just stop writing."

In Project CARS,‭ ‬a perfect example of the realistic but mundane‭ "‬genre‭"‬ of driving simulator,‭ ‬you drive a car.‭ ‬Hoo boy,‭ ‬do you drive a car.‭ ‬In a race,‭ ‬even.

Fellow simulators such as Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo also double as racing games for people who fetishize sports cars but have no imagination.‭ ‬If racing games were on a scale from hard‭ (‬realism‭) ‬to soft‭ (‬fantasy‭)‬,‭ ‬these games err to the extreme of the hard side.‭ ‬Automobiles have been featured in video games for‭ ‬40‭ ‬years now.‭ ‬Almost everything that could be done has been done.‭ ‬Even so,‭ ‬continuing to make the most realistic driving games possible takes the fun out of striving for novelty.‭ ‬Even a modicum of creativity would have been welcomed here.‭

Project CARS is the antithesis to comparatively insane driving games such as Mario Kart,‭ ‬making it a perfect game for people interested in not having a good time.

So he prefers his racing games unrealistic? Why even give Project Cars a try? Every reputable source puts it into the category of a racing simulator.

Next, I hope I can read an anti-gun lobbyist's review of a new handgun.

What a preview!!^^

Let's get back to topic! Might be that we are fanboys... but this is just ridicules!

So epic that I just injured myself doing facepalm. :banghead:

Now I really need to read this article.

???

Because they did not repeat the same sentence 5 times with growing font sizes?
The best thing to do with these kind of articles is nothing. Don't comment, don't fuel the fire. At worst, it's a troll, at best, it's just someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. In both cases, silence is gold.
