Amazon UK shows May 15th and Amazon US shows May 31st...Game has not gone gold yet so we will still be waiting for more than 4 weeks...

Sure mate but until an accurate date is confirmed all these numbers mean nothing..... An announcement has to be just around the corner! :)

seems like may 15th is the date! preorder ends may 14th!

I'm waiting to hear that the game has been pressed before getting excited.. assuming we do hear, then again they could have massive day 1 patches like Gran Turismo did to ensure the game goes out the door on the required date which if it was to be the 15th May assuming the process takes 4 weeks end to end we would expect to hear next Friday at the latest?

Makes sense (With Google Translate lol) as i said before, 7th of May is early May, the following Friday, 22nd May comes under late May, therefore the 15th is slap bang 'mid-May'........ 34 days and counting!! :)

There will be a day one patch of course. SMS will not sit on their hands in the Weeks between submit to the presswork and release day.
I know a lot of people hate day 1 patches...I don't really mind...Installing and updating = shower time lol

Sure, after waiting 4 years for this, 15 minutes more of anticipation while some patch is installed is of little sacrifice..... The smile i'll have waiting to play the game for the first time.... Wow It's like the feeling of being in love! <3

Best Buy is showing a release date of 12 May in the states. I'd put money on that being the date. Tuesdays are also the usual day for game releases stateside. Shopto is showing an 8 May release date in the UK. It's a Friday and I'd put more money on that being the release date there. Shopto also has this guarantee statement on the page for ordering the game:

Guarantee
We are so confident that you will receive Project Cars for Friday 8th of May 2015 that if for ANY reason you do not we will compensate you with £5.00 to your account.

That sounds promising!! :) PS Store UK/EU still giving 7th May as release too!!! Tick tick tick..........

i was telling a friend of a friend on PSN that i'm really looking forward to this game and he said the best racer out there was Forza and that was that. although he can have whatever opinion he likes, i'm seeing now how hard it is for a new racing IP to break into the console market. he probably won't even try the game. but Forza came out of nowhere and people liked it, so why not pCars?

another colleague of mine has also seemingly written it off already for having 'not enough cars'. very frustrating.

SMS will have to heavily rely on word-of-mouth come launch, certainly on console, because as we know, there are a lot of closed-minded people out there who seem eager to see new things fail. i intend to flood youtube and fb with footage come May (i hope) to show people what they're missing, and i haven't even played the game yet!

Wake up...Play Game before shower.

Sounds like the casual crowd who add GT or FM to their catalog depending on which console they own, but aren't really passionate about racing in general. First party simcades have like a 50/50 balance between people that just want a car game and people that love motorsports, that also explains why they sell millions of copies.

PCARS is more for motorsports fans, so it will never attract a user base that big, and will probably never sell that much neither. Although i'm counting on a lot of the more dedicated motorsports folk that play GT and FM to buy it ;)

It was in jest guys, Although i would not mind upgrading my 80mbps as got a leaflet from Virgin today offering 150mbps for less money!!!!

I wonna do a bit of this!!!!!!! :D

Now this sounds very promising. If Shopto is giving a guarantee like this the release date must be pretty solid!
