This. I did around 125 km in 2 cars, and only did a couple of spins with each car. I just drove it like in real life, starting slow. Don't forget the tires are cold.

This is the best way to enjoy a game like this IMO :)
Exactly, because of this I may start with a Ford Focus instead of a McLaren P1.

The R8 (road car) at the Nordschleife is a good way to learn.
I need to play with the FOV of the helmet view and in the meantime I'm having great fun in the bumper view...
This game takes some getting used to, but after a while I just have a grin on my face.

Kazunori who? :p

The only thing that is distracting me from driving is the menus music. I just can't get enough of it...

See you later... :)

Enjoy the game, mate. Did it come with DHL?
Latest status on my copy at 8:28am was: "package loaded onto delivery truck", but no-one showed up yet. :grumpy:
The DHL guy usually comes between 9am and 11am. Man, I'm really not happy with DHL since switching back to Amazon Prime. Most of my priority packages took the same time as standard delivery would. :banghead:

It's odd so many are struggling with the pads as the past 2 or 3 months all weve been hearing about from WMD members is how great it feels on the pad and how they really dialled it in to be smooth the past 2 months.

Is there a way to have menu music while driving?

Yes. DHL. Post Girl arrived like always at 12:30.
I wasn't using prime. Regular delivery.

I think it is because it is just different than in other games. I read that in some reviews, they say you really need time to get used to it and find your settings but ones this is done it is indeed great.

Lucky guy. Mine would have arrived, but no one was at home to receive it

How come the difficulty slider only goes up in increments of 10? I'm sure in all the videos before release you were able to have any number from 0-100.

I know... The only way to do it is with a mouse on PC. I complained about it forever on WMD, but so far nothing. I'll remind them about it again. Hopefully a planned improvement down the road

You mean the one in the HUD? I've been bringing it up by switching different HUD layouts with left D-pad. One of them has the virtual rear view mirror.

Glad the weekend is coming up so i can spend more time on project cars. Only got 30 minutes in tonight had my firstkariting race came second then first. Im not sure if i should do 100% races or 50% races through my career. Im currently doing 50% races. I have AI at set at 50 while i get used to the controlls.
